The A.H. Beard Organic Latex Pillow comes in low and high profiles, but the public evidence does not establish which one performs better: CHOICE lists a tested model, while keeping its scores and results behind membership. The low pillow is retailer-described as medium and 11 cm high; the high is described as firm and 13 cm high. Before buying, choose by fit and sleeping position, verify the exact model’s care label, and treat “organic” as a manufacturer claim—not a verified certification.
What the A.H. Beard Organic Latex Pillow is
A.H. Beard describes its pillow as made with organic latex and says its open-cell structure and perforations are intended to encourage breathability. The company also describes a removable, washable organic-cotton cover and a two-year guarantee. These are manufacturer statements, not independent verification of airflow or other performance.

The manufacturer’s product page does not name an organic certification scheme or certificate number, disclose the latex percentage, or identify a specific latex-growing origin. The available information therefore does not verify that the pillow is certified to a particular organic standard. A.H. Beard’s pillow information
High or low: which profile should you choose?
The Australian retail listings describe two versions. The low-profile model is listed as medium firmness and 11 cm high; the high-profile version is described as firm and 13 cm high. A.H. Beard’s general selection guidance says side sleepers often prefer a higher profile, back sleepers may find a medium profile comfortable, and stomach sleepers typically suit a lower one. That is broad guidance, not a personal fit guarantee or medical recommendation.

Because the dimensions and listings are not identical, check the product label and the exact listing before treating any measurement as universal. A useful starting point is whether your current pillow leaves your head and neck comfortably aligned in a neutral position; profile preference can vary with your body and mattress.
What CHOICE’s review can—and cannot—tell you
CHOICE has a product page for the A.H. Beard Organic Latex Pillow and lists its filling as organic latex. Its public page does not reveal the Expert Rating or the test results for fatigue, comfort, side sleeping, back sleeping, folding, or sinking. The listing confirms that CHOICE tested or listed a model, but it does not support a public numerical score, comparative ranking, or claim that the pillow is a winner.

Can you wash the pillow?
Care information conflicts across the available listings. A.H. Beard describes the cover as removable and washable, and Harvey Norman says the cover can be machine- or hand-washed. CHOICE’s product page, however, displays “Do not machine wash. Do not wet or expose to sunlight” in its washing-instructions field. The brand’s general troubleshooting guidance says care depends on the material and advises following the product label.

Is it worth buying?
The available public evidence supports a cautious fit-based decision, not a performance verdict. The product has clearly listed high and low options, and the high/low distinction includes both a different profile and a different stated firmness. However, CHOICE’s score and detailed results are not publicly visible on its listing, so there is no substantiated public rating here to use as proof of comfort or value.
