AFK Arena uses several separate currencies, each tied to particular activities and stores; they are not interchangeable. Playing on Windows PC does not establish a different currency economy. Google Play lists the game for PC through Google Play Games, while the currencies and spending choices described here are in-game systems.
Playing AFK Arena on Windows PC
Google Play’s AFK Arena listing says, “Play this game on your Windows PC with Google Play Games.” Its minimum requirements include Windows 10 version 2004, an SSD with 10 GB of available space, four physical CPU cores, 8 GB of RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 630 or comparable graphics, a Windows administrator account, and hardware virtualization enabled. Google Play also cautions that device sync might not be available for this game. These platform details do not indicate a separate PC currency set.

How to think about AFK Arena currencies
Each currency generally reflects a different activity and buys from a particular store or supports a particular use. Before spending, check what the live client offers, how quickly you can earn that currency, and whether spending it now rules out a limited-time exchange or a more useful progression purchase later. Store contents, prices, caps, event exchanges, and requirements can change.
Currency and store guide
| Currency | How it is earned | Where it is spent | Key tradeoff |
|---|---|---|---|
| Diamonds | Campaign quests and other in-game rewards; AFK.Global’s February 6, 2019 guide also describes real-money purchases. | Multiple in-game uses; check the current client for available options. | They are a flexible resource, but spending them on one option leaves fewer for other uses. The older guide does not establish current prices or a current best-value choice. |
| Guild Coins | Guild activity, including guild bosses or hunts; guides associate earnings with boss damage. | Guild Store gear and upgrade stones. | Gear can support active heroes, while spending on a less useful item delays other gear or upgrades. Older advice prioritizes weapons and boots, but applicability depends on your roster and progression. |
| Hero Coins (Barracks coins) | Retiring common heroes. | Barracks options, including Elite Soulstones; official community guidance also identifies Dimensional exchanges or garrison needs. | Spending before building a reserve can leave you short when an exchange or garrison opportunity appears. |
| Labyrinth currency | Arcane Labyrinth activity. | Labyrinth Store options, including heroes and emblems as described in older guides. | A purchase may compete with saving for limited Dimensional hero exchanges. Check current store stock and event requirements. |
| Challenger Coins | Standing in Legends’ Challenger Tournament; tournament rank affects earnings. | Challenger Store items. | The currency can take time to accumulate, so spending carries a meaningful opportunity cost. Do not assume a fixed income or current hero price from older guides. |
These are the principal currencies covered by the cited store guides, not a guaranteed complete list of every current token or resource. Guides also refer to gold, Hero’s Essence, emblems, and Poe Coins; check the current client for the full set relevant to your account.

Choosing what to save and what to spend
Keep a reserve for limited exchanges
Lilith Games’ community forum guide, “Stores & Tokens Management,” recommends saving Barracks coins for Dimensional exchanges or garrison needs until you have a sufficient reserve, then treating Elite Soulstones as an alternate use for surplus. This is a strategy recommendation, not a guarantee that a particular exchange will be available or have unchanged requirements; check the event and store in your game.
Match purchases to your progression
Guild Store gear can be valuable when it improves heroes you actively use. Older guides suggest prioritizing weapons and boots, but that is not a universal rule for every roster or stage of progression. For Labyrinth and Challenger stores, weigh the item you can buy now against the hero, emblem, or other option you may want later.

Evaluate diamonds separately
AFK.Global’s February 6, 2019 diamond guide describes diamonds as earnable and purchasable with real money. That establishes the purchase connection, not current pricing or a reason to spend. Google Play’s AFK Arena app listing identifies in-app purchases. Neither source provides a dependable current price list or spending-value comparison.
