Arin Patterson, a 36-year-old woman in Charlotte, North Carolina, used a three-page Google Form to invite marriage-minded men to introduce themselves. New York Post reporting says the form drew 241 submissions, while Patterson received an additional 1,000 to 1,500 direct messages. It was a personal dating invitation—not a dating app or matchmaking business—and the coverage does not report that she found a partner.
What was the “husband application”?
Patterson shared a Google Form titled “So…You’re Interested?” as a way for men to apply to get to know her. Reports described the three-page form as pinned to her Instagram bio. It gave interested people a structured way to introduce themselves; it was not a standalone app or a commercial service. The New York Post account reproduced by AOL and Magic 95.9’s October 2 report attribute the details to coverage of Patterson’s story.

She had tried dating apps, meeting people in person, and accepting introductions. Patterson told the New York Post, “I’m always open to people setting me up … I have done literally everything that I know to do, which is how I got to the husband application.” The form was her attempt to try a different approach, rather than evidence that she had given up on meeting people in other ways.

| Category | What reports said |
|---|---|
| Minimum qualifications | Single, Christian, 28 to 47, and genuinely interested in a serious relationship with marriage and fatherhood in view. |
| Preferences | A bachelor’s degree or higher and a height of at least 5 feet 10 inches. These were reported as preferences, not hard minimum qualifications. |
| Questions | Career, routines, relationship goals, views on family, and interests. |
These details are outlet-reported; the live form and an independently verified copy of its complete questionnaire were not available in the coverage. AOL’s reproduction of the New York Post report provides the form details.
How many men responded?
The New York Post reporting gives two separate counts: 241 formal form submissions and “anywhere from 1,000 to 1,500” direct messages. Those numbers describe different channels, not a combined total of applicants, and the reports do not establish that they were independently validated platform analytics. AOL’s September 30, 2026 account reports the form closed at 11:59 p.m. EDT that day; the response totals were also recapped by Magic 95.9 on October 2.

Did Patterson find a husband?
The available coverage does not report a confirmed match. At the time of the stories, Patterson planned to review submissions, begin with phone calls, and decide whom to meet for dates. That is a reported next step, not a later-confirmed outcome.
