To get more useful results from Hostinger Agent, explain what you are trying to achieve, who the work is for, and what a successful result should look like. Add practical constraints such as format and tone, use a relevant skill when its guided workflow fits, and give a precise follow-up if the first answer misses the mark.
What to include in a Hostinger Agent prompt
Hostinger’s Agent tips emphasize that output depends heavily on the input. A useful prompt gives the assistant enough context to make fewer assumptions, then defines the task and its boundaries.
- Context: Describe your business or project, its audience, the goal, and any relevant work you have already tried.
- Specific outcome: Name the thing you want Agent to produce or help you do.
- Constraints: Specify useful details such as format, tone, length, required sections, or materials to use.
- Known problem: If you are asking for help after something failed, say what you tried and what happened.
For example, “Write a blog post about packaging” leaves the audience and purpose open. A more actionable version is: “I sell handmade soy candles on Etsy, and my customers care about sustainability. Write a blog post about eco-friendly packaging options for small e-commerce businesses.” Adapt the business, audience, and deliverable to your own situation rather than treating the example as a universal prompt.
A reusable prompt structure
Use this as a starting point, not a rigid formula:
I run [business or project] for [audience]. I need [one specific outcome]. Make it [format, length, tone, or other constraints]. Use [relevant facts or materials]. If [important information] is missing, ask me before assuming. I have already tried [steps], and [result or problem].

The instruction to ask about missing information is a practical way to reduce unwanted assumptions; it is not a special Hostinger feature.
Should you use a skill or write a direct prompt?
Either approach can work. Choose based on whether your task needs a guided workflow and whether a suitable skill is currently available.
Rank #2
| Approach | Best fit | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Built-in skill | A task with a defined workflow where answering questions step by step helps supply the needed details. | Check the Skills tab for the skills currently available. The list can change. |
| Direct prompt | A task that is already clear, or one without a relevant skill. | State the context, outcome, audience, and constraints yourself. |
Hostinger’s skills guide describes Keyword Research with SEO Consultant as an example: it asks about the business, audience, and topics. Give specific answers; a reply like “everyone” does little to narrow the intended audience. The guide also says users can create, rename, or retire skills, and that up to 50 custom skills can be saved. Because the available list and product details may change, check the current Skills tab or guide before relying on a particular skill or limit.
How to improve an answer that is close but not right
Keep the conversation going and ask for the particular change you need. Hostinger recommends focused requests rather than restarting when a result is nearly right.

- Ask for one clear revision, such as “Make the tone more casual,” “Add a section about pricing,” or “Cut it in half.”
- For a problem-solving request, explain what you already tried and what happened.
Avoid combining unrelated new tasks with the correction. A narrow follow-up makes it clearer which part of the answer you want changed.

Hostinger’s current Agent guide says Agent can build a new website on AI Builder or WordPress. Describe the site’s purpose and the specific tools or features it needs. The guide says Agent asks questions, presents platform options, and then begins building. Review the site before publishing; do not treat the generated result as automatically ready to go live.
Rank #4
This is one use case, not a requirement for other Agent tasks. Hostinger describes its newer Agent as an account-integrated assistant combining specialized business agents with the dashboard assistant experience in its overview.
