Their official descriptions point to different workflows: MagicSchool offers a broad teaching-tool suite, Brisk works alongside materials in a browser, Curipod focuses on teacher-led interactive lessons, and SchoolAI foregrounds student connection and progress visibility. Choose by the work you need to do, how students will participate, and what your school requires—not by unverified claims about learning outcomes.
How the four tools differ
This comparison uses vendor-described features and current listed pricing where available; it is not a hands-on test or an independent efficacy ranking. A vendor’s feature count, curriculum-mapping count, privacy description, or testimonial should be read as a vendor claim, not as independent verification.
| Tool | Workflow and stated outputs | Student role and teacher visibility | Curriculum fit | Price and evidence limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MagicSchool | A broad suite for planning, content creation, assessment, differentiation, and communication; the vendor reports 80+ teacher tools and 50+ student tools. | Student tools are included in the described product; specific controls vary by plan. The quality page says educators—not AI—remain responsible for instructional judgment. | Broad K–12 use is described; a specific standards-mapping count is not stated on the reviewed official pages. | As listed by MagicSchool on 2026-10-04: Free $0; Plus $8.33 per user per month billed annually or $12.99 billed monthly; Enterprise custom-priced. Verify rates and limits before purchase. |
| Brisk Teaching | Browser-based work with materials teachers already use, including lesson plans, assessments, feedback, writing inspection, reading-level adjustment, translation, and student activities. | Student activities are among the stated capabilities; the reviewed homepage does not establish a directly comparable account or visibility model. | Translation is listed for 50+ languages, a vendor-reported feature count; a curriculum-mapping count is not stated on the reviewed page. | The homepage offers a free start. A detailed plan comparison and comparable pricing schedule are not established in the reviewed material. |
| Curipod | Teacher-led, whole-class lessons built around reading, writing, and discussion, with real-time feedback and reports intended to help identify learning gaps. | The vendor describes lessons as teacher-controlled, with no student accounts and no AI chatbots. | Curipod says it maps to 55+ curricula; that count is vendor-reported, not independently verified here. | A directly comparable current price and plan-limit schedule are not stated in the reviewed official material. |
| SchoolAI | The reviewed homepage emphasizes connecting teachers and students and helping teachers see how students are doing. | Progress visibility is a central part of the homepage description; detailed controls and student-access requirements are not established by that page. | Detailed curriculum-design or standards-mapping functions are not stated in the reviewed official material. | A directly comparable current pricing schedule and plan limits are not stated in the reviewed official material. |
MagicSchool: a broad suite for varied teaching tasks
MagicSchool is the clearest fit if you want one service described as covering several stages of instructional work rather than a single lesson format: planning, creating content, designing assessments, differentiating materials, and communicating. Its reported 80+ teacher tools and 50+ student tools are product counts supplied by the vendor; they do not, by themselves, show which tools your staff will use or how well the generated material fits a particular course.
MagicSchool’s responsible-AI guidance frames generated content as a draft for educator review, not a final instructional decision. It says the company does not use AI for student grading or placement, discipline, or eligibility decisions. Teachers should still check generated work for accuracy, bias, accessibility, standards fit, and classroom context.

Plans and implementation
On the pricing page checked on 2026-10-04, MagicSchool listed Free at $0 for individual teachers; Plus at $8.33 per user per month with annual billing or $12.99 per user per month with monthly billing; and custom pricing for Enterprise. The vendor describes Plus as adding unlimited generations and history plus student tools, and Enterprise as adding district-level controls and integrations. Treat prices and plan descriptions as time-sensitive: confirm the live terms, limits, and contract details before budgeting.
If you are comparing plans for a school or district, distinguish individual-teacher access from district administration. The reviewed information does not establish the full configuration or terms of Enterprise controls and integrations, so request product-specific documentation before treating them as a match for local requirements.

Brisk: adapt and create from materials in the browser
Brisk’s distinguishing workflow is to start with teaching materials already in the browser rather than move every task into a separate all-purpose workspace. Its homepage lists lesson-plan and assessment generation, personalized feedback, writing inspection, reading-level changes, translation, and student activities. The vendor says translation covers 50+ languages; verify language availability and quality for the specific languages and classroom use you need.
This may suit teachers who want creation and adaptation tools close to existing resources. The reviewed official page does not provide a detailed plan comparison, a comparable account-and-visibility model, or a curriculum-alignment count. Its free-start offer is not enough to establish which features, usage limits, or school controls apply to a particular deployment. Check those details before adopting it across a team.

Curipod: interactive, teacher-led whole-class lessons
Curipod is positioned around a particular lesson experience: the teacher leads a whole class through reading, writing, and discussion, with real-time feedback and reports meant to help identify learning gaps. The vendor describes its design as teacher-controlled, with no student accounts and no AI chatbots. That model may fit a classroom seeking structured participation without requiring students to create accounts, but confirm the actual access flow and district requirements with the vendor.
Curipod says it aligns with more than 55 curricula. Treat that as a vendor-reported mapping count, not proof that a lesson matches your jurisdiction’s exact standards, course sequence, or local pacing. Review sample lessons against your scope and sequence before relying on alignment claims.

The homepage also presents a claim that students scored 23 points higher on state tests and refers to case studies based on California and Texas test data. The material reviewed here does not establish the study methods, causal attribution, or independent verification of that claim. It should not be treated as evidence that Curipod will improve results in another school or context.

It offers distinct paths for teachers, leaders, students, and higher education, suggesting that intended use may differ across audiences. However, the reviewed official page does not establish detailed curriculum-building capabilities, standards mapping, plan limits, or a directly comparable price schedule.

That gap is not proof that SchoolAI lacks a particular feature; it means the reviewed material is insufficient to compare it fairly on that point. If curriculum design is the main purchase requirement, ask for feature documentation and a demonstration of the exact planning, generation, or alignment workflow you need. Treat testimonials as promotional statements, not controlled evidence of student outcomes.
How to choose for your teaching workflow
- Start with the task. For a range of planning and classroom-preparation tasks, investigate MagicSchool. For adapting or creating from materials in a browser, investigate Brisk. For teacher-led whole-class interactive lessons, investigate Curipod. For teacher-student connection and progress visibility, investigate SchoolAI.
- Map the work to your existing routine. Identify where teachers will open the tool, what materials they will bring in, whether students will use it directly, and how outputs will reach a lesson or assessment. A tool’s stated feature list matters less if its workflow does not fit your staff’s day-to-day practice.
- Check local curriculum fit with real examples. Ask for sample outputs tied to your grade, subject, standards, and scope and sequence. Vendor-reported counts of tools, languages, or curriculum mappings are useful orientation, not a substitute for checking an actual lesson.
- Set the student-use and teacher-control expectations. Confirm account requirements, what students can access, what teachers can see, and what review or moderation controls are available. Curipod’s vendor description explicitly says no student accounts and no AI chatbots; do not assume another service uses the same model.
- Review privacy, integrations, and administration with the school or district. Request current product-specific terms and documentation on data handling, integrations, administrative controls, and applicable limits. The official pages reviewed do not provide equal detail across all four services, so an undocumented item should be treated as unverified, not as either present or absent.
- Compare the full cost and limits before rollout. Confirm billing cadence, user counts, generation or usage caps, student access, support, and district features in writing. Only MagicSchool’s reviewed pricing page supplied directly comparable tier prices; the other reviewed material does not establish equivalent price or plan-limit details.
- Pilot with educator review. Have teachers check generated materials for factual accuracy, bias, accessibility, standards fit, and suitability for their students before classroom use. No independent head-to-head evidence reviewed here establishes that one of these products produces better student outcomes than another.
What this comparison can—and cannot—tell you
The official descriptions are useful for identifying product emphasis, but they are not a common benchmark. The pages reviewed provide unequal detail on curriculum alignment, student access, administration, privacy, integrations, pricing, and usage limits. Feature presence in marketing copy should not be read as proof of quality, and a feature not described on a reviewed page should not be treated as definitively absent. For a purchase decision, use vendor documentation and a local pilot to answer the questions that matter for your school.
