Prerecorded वीडियो को YouTube Live की तरह दिखाने के लिए क्लाउड सर्वर पर encoder या playout प्रक्रिया चलानी होगी। वह वीडियो को YouTube के ingest URL पर भेजेगी; फिर Live Control Room में preview देखकर scheduled broadcast पर Go live चुनें। सिर्फ वीडियो अपलोड करना या Premiere बनाना live ingest नहीं है, और क्लाउड सर्वर अपने-आप वीडियो नहीं चलाता।
पहले तय करें कि वीडियो कौन चलाएगा
दो व्यावहारिक विकल्प हैं: अपना cloud server लेकर उस पर संगत encoder या playout software चलाएँ, या prerecorded streams के लिए बनी managed cloud service इस्तेमाल करें। दोनों ही स्थितियों में वीडियो को YouTube तक भेजने वाली प्रक्रिया आवश्यक है। Self-managed server में सेटअप और निगरानी आपकी जिम्मेदारी होती है; managed सेवा में playout सेवा के दायरे में आता है। खर्च, उपलब्धता और सुविधाएँ चुने हुए provider या plan पर निर्भर करेंगी।
YouTube की encoder directory Gyre को prerecorded वीडियो की 24/7 streaming के लिए cloud-based tool के रूप में सूचीबद्ध करती है। यह directory listing है, स्वतंत्र performance परीक्षण या मौजूदा plan और कीमतों की पुष्टि नहीं। YouTube AJA HELO Plus को standalone H.264 encoder बताता है; उसके PlayToStream फीचर से prerecorded media schedule करके YouTube Live पर भेजा जा सकता है। यह hardware विकल्प है, cloud VPS नहीं और software-आधारित cloud setup के लिए जरूरी नहीं। विवरण: YouTube की encoder guide और directory।

अपनी prerecorded media file को cloud server पर उपलब्ध कराएँ, या चुनी हुई managed सेवा में upload करें। सुनिश्चित करें कि playout प्रक्रिया उस file को पढ़ सकती है और पूरी अवधि में उसे भेज सकती है। वीडियो को YouTube पर सामान्य upload करना अपने-आप Live broadcast नहीं बनाता।
लाइव विवरण तय करें
प्रसारण का title, audience, privacy और अन्य विवरण तैयार रखें। अगर पहले से event बनाना है तो YouTube Studio में उसे schedule करें; इससे event URL साझा किया जा सकता है और दर्शक reminders पा सकते हैं। YouTube के अनुसार सभी streamers privacy बदल सकते हैं; उम्र से जुड़ी default privacy अलग हो सकती है।

YouTube Live event बनाएँ और ingest जानकारी लें
- YouTube Studio खोलें और Create → Go Live चुनें। तुरंत इस्तेमाल के लिए stream बनाएँ, या event पहले से तय करने के लिए Manage → Schedule stream चुनें। UI के labels समय के साथ बदल सकते हैं।
- Event के विवरण—title, audience, privacy और अन्य लागू settings—भरें। Scheduled event का URL दर्शकों के साथ साझा करें, यदि आप reminders या पहले से सूचना देना चाहते हैं।
- Live Control Room में उस event की Stream settings खोलें। वहीं से server/stream URL और stream key लें। Encoder में दोनों उसी stream के लिए दर्ज करें।
- जहाँ encoder समर्थन करे, RTMPS चुनें। YouTube Help के अनुसार Stream URL के पास lock icon से RTMPS URL देखा जा सकता है। केवल पुराना hard-coded पता देखकर यह न मानें कि connection encrypted है।
Stream key credential की तरह सुरक्षित रखें। उसे screenshot, सार्वजनिक script या साझा logs में न दिखाएँ; लेख या उदाहरण में वास्तविक key कभी न डालें। आधिकारिक निर्देश: YouTube: Encrypt your stream using RTMPS।
Cloud server पर playout encoder चलाएँ
- Server या managed service में prerecorded वीडियो उपलब्ध कराएँ और पुष्टि करें कि चुना हुआ encoder उसे पढ़ सकता है।
- Encoder/playout प्रक्रिया में वीडियो चलाने और YouTube से मिली stream settings के URL तथा key पर output भेजने की व्यवस्था करें। URL और key उसी event के होने चाहिए।
- यदि RTMPS इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं, encoder में RTMPS support और Live Control Room से लिया गया RTMPS endpoint चुनें। Google की RTMPS ingestion guide के अनुसार connection ingest server के port 443 पर होना चाहिए; custom TLS clients को सही hostname SNI में भेजना होता है।
- प्रक्रिया शुरू करें और उसे broadcast के दौरान चलने दें। Server, encoder और network connection उपलब्ध रहना चाहिए; server किराए पर लेने से playout अपने-आप शुरू या लगातार चालू नहीं होता। Encoder logs और YouTube Live Control Room preview देखते रहें।
यह workflow provider-neutral है: VM का आकार, egress लागत, किसी खास FFmpeg/OBS command या restart script के लिए यहाँ कोई एक सत्यापित configuration नहीं है। इन्हें अपने cloud provider और encoder के दस्तावेज़ से तय करें; अनुमानित command को तैयार या परीक्षण किया हुआ न मानें। Transport विवरण: Google for Developers: Delivering Live YouTube Content via RTMPS (पृष्ठ 14 सितंबर 2026 को अपडेट किया गया)।

Preview से broadcast शुरू करें और सही तरह समाप्त करें
- Scheduled broadcast के लिए पहले cloud encoder से stream भेजना शुरू करें।
- Live Control Room में preview आने तक प्रतीक्षा करें। YouTube की encoder guide में इसके बाद Go live चुनने को कहा गया है; केवल event schedule करने से सार्वजनिक प्रसारण अपने-आप शुरू होगा, ऐसा न मानें।
- प्रसारण खत्म होने पर encoder की sending प्रक्रिया रोकें और Live Control Room में event समाप्त करें।
YouTube Help कहता है कि 12 घंटे से कम की सभी streams स्वतः archive होती हैं। 12 घंटे या उससे लंबी stream के लिए इस नियम के आधार पर archive का वादा नहीं किया जा सकता। पूरी प्रक्रिया: YouTube: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder।
आम connection समस्याएँ और उनके समाधान
- SSL या certificate error: जाँचें कि URL
rtmpsसे शुरू होता है,rtmpसे नहीं, और endpoint/port Live Control Room में दिए गए URL से मेल खाते हैं। YouTube Help port 443 आज़माने का सुझाव देता है। - Timeout या preview नहीं आता: पुष्टि करें कि encoder RTMPS संभालता है, प्रक्रिया चल रही है, URL और key एक ही stream के हैं और server से endpoint तक outbound connection उपलब्ध है। RTMPS अपेक्षित endpoint पर cleartext RTMP भेजने से timeout हो सकता है।
- गलत ingest URL: पुराने tutorial का पता इस्तेमाल करने के बजाय मौजूदा event के Live Control Room में Stream settings खोलकर URL फिर लें।
- Scheduled event public नहीं हुआ: पहले preview आने दें, फिर Live Control Room में Go live चुनें। मौजूदा settings और workflow जाँचे बिना automatic public launch न मानें।
- कई घंटों बाद stream रुक गई: encoder और cloud process के logs देखें, server तथा network connection की स्थिति जाँचें और पुष्टि करें कि playout प्रक्रिया अब भी वीडियो भेज रही है। YouTube ingest और cloud playout अलग हिस्से हैं; समस्या किस तरफ है, इसे logs और preview से अलग-अलग जाँचें।
