In Chrome on Android, open the page and tap More > Share > Long screenshot. Adjust the crop handles, tap Confirm, then save the image or share it. If Chrome doesn’t show Long screenshot, Android’s system-level Capture more may work on Android 12 and later on most scrollable screens.
Capture a scrolling webpage in Chrome
- Open Chrome and go to the webpage you want to capture.
- Tap More beside the address bar, then tap Share. In some Chrome setups, a Share shortcut appears beside the search bar instead.
- Tap Long screenshot.
- Drag the crop handles to include the amount of the page you want. Drag them to make the capture longer or shorter.
- Tap Confirm.
- Choose whether to share the screenshot with a person or app, or save it to your device.
Chrome’s documented workflow is in the page-sharing menu, rather than the Android screenshot toolbar. Google’s Chrome Help instructions for Android describe the Long screenshot editor and its crop handles.
If you don’t see the Share shortcut
Open More > Settings > Toolbar shortcut and choose Share. You can also use More > Share directly. These menu labels are documented by Chrome, but the available controls can vary; Google does not publish a complete compatibility list for every Chrome release, device, locale, or webpage.
Use Android’s Capture more option as a fallback
Google’s Android Help documents a system scrolling screenshot for devices running Android 12 and up, on most screens that allow you to scroll. It is not guaranteed to work on every version or page.

- With the webpage open, press Power and Volume down together to take a screenshot.
- In the screenshot controls, tap Capture more.
- Use the crop guidelines to select the content you want.
For device-specific screenshot controls, consult your phone manufacturer’s support instructions if these steps do not match your device. See Google’s Android screenshot instructions for the version and screen qualifications.
Which capture method should you use?

Try Chrome’s Share flow first when you specifically want Chrome’s webpage capture. If that option is unavailable, try Capture more if your Android version and screen support it.

Troubleshooting
Long screenshot is missing
- Make sure you opened Share from Chrome’s page menu, not just the Android system screenshot controls.
- If the Share shortcut is missing, use More > Share, or set the shortcut through More > Settings > Toolbar shortcut > Share.
- If Long screenshot still does not appear, use Android’s Capture more workflow where supported. Chrome’s help does not establish a complete device, release, or webpage compatibility matrix.
Capture more is missing or does not capture the page
The system option is documented for Android 12 and later on most scrollable screens, not all of them. Check your device maker’s support guidance for its screenshot controls; there is no documented guarantee that every webpage or device will support the feature.
The saved capture is too short or too long
Before tapping Confirm in Chrome’s editor, move the crop handles to set the desired length. The editor is the step that determines how much page content is included.
