Percy provides the screenshot capture and visual comparison; the BrowserStack documentation reviewed describes capture during test execution, not a native calendar scheduler.
What you need to schedule
Use Percy to capture and compare pages, then use the scheduler already available in your test runner or CI system to launch the Percy-enabled suite at the times you choose. The recurring job runs the tests; Percy captures the pages as those tests execute and presents later builds for visual review.
BrowserStack documents integration through its SDKs and Percy SDKs. Choose the route based on the browser coverage your visual checks need: Percy with Automate for a range of desktop, mobile, browser, or device combinations, or Percy Web for visual tests on the newest browsers. See BrowserStack’s Percy SDK integration guide.
Set up a recurring Percy capture
- Integrate Percy with the tests. Follow the relevant SDK integration guide for your existing test suite. For an example using Selenium and Mocha JS, see BrowserStack’s Selenium and Mocha integration guide.
- Choose the capture trigger. The Selenium/Mocha guide lists
auto, testcase, click, screenshot, andmanualcapture modes. Automatic capture can be configured withpercyCaptureMode: auto. Use a manual screenshot call at the point in a test where the page has reached the state worth comparing. - Make the test repeatable. Keep the relevant page state and browser dimensions consistent between runs. In Automate, screenshot dimensions follow the current browser window size; set the desired viewport before the screenshot call. BrowserStack explains this behavior in its viewport-width guidance.
- Configure recurrence outside Percy. In your existing test runner or CI scheduler, set a recurring job to launch the Percy-enabled test suite. The BrowserStack pages cited here do not provide vendor-specific scheduler steps, so consult the documentation for the CI or test-running system your team uses.
- Review each Percy build. After the scheduled test run, inspect the resulting Percy build and compare its captures with earlier runs to review visual changes.
Choose page and viewport coverage
Full page or a focused area
For long pages, Percy with Automate supports a full-page screenshot option; see BrowserStack’s full-page screenshot documentation. When only a particular component or page area matters, Percy CLI supports scoped snapshots. BrowserStack’s CLI guide describes running Percy without an automation script, and its recommended guidelines discuss snapshot coverage.

- Scope of application: The spark plug tester is universal and suitable for testing and troubleshooting small or large internal/external engines such as engines, trucks, automobiles, lawn mowers, marine engines and motorcycles. It is the preferred product in any personal or professional machinery store or automobile garage.
- About use: Just connect the tester between the spark plug and the spark plug wire, and it takes about 30 seconds for the internal combustion engine to troubleshoot. If the engine can emit spark, the tester bulb reflects the spark and lights up, so as to quickly find the fault point and bad circuit of the spark plug.
- Excellent material selection: It adopts excellent rubber and metal, high-temperature resistant wire and environmental friendly acetate plastic. It works in high and low temperature environment without impact and is durable.
- Product size: 2.28 inch metal interface, 4.44 inch shaft/lamp housing, 6.53 inch sheath/cable; The internal bulb lasts for several years and is replaced by a transparent housing.
- Service: If you have any questions about the product, please contact us in time, and we will provide you with satisfactory solutions.
Consistent viewport sizes
Decide which widths and browser/device combinations the recurring check should cover, then set them deliberately in the test setup. In Automate, Percy captures at the browser’s current window size, so changing the window between runs can make comparisons less useful.
Troubleshooting scheduled captures
- The job runs, but there is no Percy capture: confirm the scheduled command launches the Percy-integrated tests and that a capture trigger is configured. If using manual mode, check that the screenshot call is reached in the test.
- Comparisons use unexpected dimensions: set the browser window size before capture and keep the viewport configuration consistent across runs.
- The full page is not captured: confirm the test uses Percy with Automate and enables the documented full-page option.
- Changes in irrelevant content obscure the result: consider a scoped snapshot for the element or region under test, while retaining broader page coverage where it is important.
- The run does not recur: verify the recurrence in the team’s test runner or CI scheduler. Percy capture is part of the test execution; the reviewed BrowserStack documentation does not establish a separate native Percy calendar schedule.

If you need an image or PDF on a schedule rather than a Percy visual test, ScreenshotNeo provides a website screenshot API and MCP server. A single request can return a screenshot or PDF; its capture can remove cookie banners, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before the shot. Bot checks, blank pages, and failed loads are never billed, and an MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000.
For a one-off capture, use this cURL request; supply your API key and the target URL. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options and scheduling integration details.
