Be.Live’s published 60-minute session cap and 180-minute total are limits on its 14-day free trial—not confirmed limits for the ongoing free plan. After the trial, Be.Live says your account downgrades to a free plan at no cost, but its current official pages do not spell out that plan’s complete YouTube limits. The distinction matters if you need to know how long you can stream after the trial ends.
What Be.Live’s free trial limits actually are
Be.Live’s official FAQ identifies three restrictions as applying during the 14-day free trial:
- 60 minutes maximum per session.
- 180 streaming minutes total.
- Custom RTMP is unavailable.
The FAQ explicitly describes these as trial limitations and says paid plans unlock full features and unlimited streaming. These figures should not be treated as the continuing free plan’s limits: Be.Live’s account setup help and pricing support article say the trial lasts 14 days and then the account downgrades to a free plan at no cost, but do not give a complete inventory of that plan’s restrictions.
What is—and isn’t—known about the ongoing free plan
The official pages reviewed do not establish the continuing free plan’s full limits for YouTube session length, total streaming time, Custom RTMP, simultaneous destinations, recordings, branding, or other paid features. In particular, the 60-minute and 180-minute trial restrictions are not evidence of the free plan’s allowances. Check the limits shown in your account or confirm them with Be.Live before relying on a free plan for a scheduled or lengthy broadcast.

Broadcast duration
Be.Live’s FAQ says broadcasts can run for up to 8 hours, but it does not specify that this maximum applies to the continuing free plan. Treat it as a general stated maximum, not a confirmed free-plan entitlement.
Destinations and Custom RTMP
Be.Live lists YouTube alongside Amazon, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and Custom RTMP. Its multistreaming guide says destination capacity depends on plan and describes up to 8 destinations in a setup step, while the same guide’s overview says up to 5. Because those figures conflict and the page does not establish the free plan’s allowance, confirm the current destination limit for your account. The FAQ does specifically say Custom RTMP is unavailable during the trial; it does not settle whether it is available on the ongoing free plan.

Recording retention
The FAQ gives recording-retention periods of 30 days for Starter, 60 days for Pro, and 90 days for Growth. These are named paid-plan periods, not stated free-plan benefits. Copies saved on YouTube or other destinations are governed by those services’ policies rather than Be.Live’s recording storage limits.
What you need to connect Be.Live to YouTube
Be.Live’s YouTube streaming guide lists a desktop or laptop, current Chrome or Safari, a verified Google account and YouTube channel, and a stable internet connection. It recommends a wired connection and headphones to reduce the risk of connection problems, echo, or feedback. A separate webcam is not required in every setup: the guide says an iOS or Android phone can be used as a camera.

Connect YouTube and start a broadcast
- Prepare the account and equipment. Verify your Google account and YouTube channel, use a desktop or laptop with a current Chrome or Safari browser, and check that your connection is stable. Use a wired connection and headphones if available; a phone can serve as the camera.
- Connect YouTube in Be.Live. Follow Be.Live’s YouTube setup flow and grant the requested permission. Be.Live says it will not post without permission.
- Set the broadcast details. Choose whether the YouTube broadcast will be Public, Private, or Unlisted, then enter its title and description.
- Check the applicable time limit before going live. During the trial, the documented restrictions are 60 minutes per session and 180 minutes total. After the trial, do not assume those numbers carry over to the free plan; its complete current limits are not specified in the cited help pages.
Choosing what to do after the trial
If you only need to test the connection or make a short trial broadcast, the published trial limits give you a clear boundary. If your stream must exceed those trial allowances, or you need a particular destination count, RTMP access, or recording-retention period, verify the entitlement for the plan you intend to use rather than inferring it from the trial restrictions or paid-plan examples.
