पहले पता करें कि OBS में सचमुच Network Dropped Frames बढ़ रहे हैं या समस्या encoding/rendering की है। Network drops हों तो स्थिर upload क्षमता जाँचें, bitrate घटाकर परीक्षण करें और Wi‑Fi की जगह Ethernet आज़माएँ। अगर OBS में drops नहीं हैं लेकिन दर्शक buffering बता रहे हैं, तो वह अलग समस्या है।
पहले समस्या का प्रकार पहचानें
OBS के आँकड़ों में network dropped frames, rendering lag और encoding lag को अलग-अलग देखें। OBS के अनुसार network drops आम तौर पर कंप्यूटर और दूरस्थ ingest server के बीच अस्थिर कनेक्शन या उपलब्ध upload क्षमता से अधिक bitrate के कारण होते हैं। OBS में network drops न बढ़ें, लेकिन “encoding overloaded” दिखे या output रुक-रुककर चले, तो encoding और GPU load जाँचें।
YouTube Live Control Room के stream health संकेतक के पास दिखने वाले error messages और उनके timestamps नोट करें। इन्हें OBS के आँकड़ों और logs के समय से मिलाएँ; इससे पता चलेगा कि समस्या network, format या processing में कहाँ उभर रही है। OBS की connection troubleshooting guidance और YouTube के live streaming error messages देखें।
अगर OBS network drops नहीं दिखाता, फिर भी दर्शक lag या buffering बताते हैं, तो इसे broadcaster-side dropped frames न मानें। Viewer का device, इंटरनेट कनेक्शन और stream bitrate चलाने की क्षमता अलग से जाँचें; OBS के buffering troubleshooting guide में यह अंतर स्पष्ट किया गया है।

Network dropped frames ठीक करने का क्रम
1. Upload bandwidth और headroom जाँचें
Advertised download speed streaming क्षमता नहीं बताती। जाँचें कि stream के कुल bitrate के लिए स्थिर upload bandwidth उपलब्ध है। YouTube सलाह देता है कि कुल streaming bitrate उपलब्ध upload bandwidth से अधिक न हो और लगभग 20% bandwidth खाली रखी जाए। यदि primary और backup streams दोनों भेज रहे हैं, तो दोनों के bitrate जोड़कर हिसाब करें। यह YouTube की सामान्य सलाह है, किसी खास भारतीय ISP या शहर के लिए गारंटी नहीं। YouTube streaming tips
2. Bitrate को घटाकर फिर परीक्षण करें
अगर upload क्षमता के मुकाबले bitrate ऊँचा है, OBS में output bitrate कम करें और stream को फिर जाँचें। YouTube की H.264 encoder तालिका में सुझाए गए उदाहरण ये हैं:

ये YouTube की H.264 configuration recommendations हैं, हर नेटवर्क के लिए अनिवार्य लक्ष्य नहीं। Codec और frame rate के अनुसार bitrate बदलता है; AV1 या H.265 के लिए H.264 वाली संख्याएँ न मानें। स्थिरता के लिए अपने upload connection की वास्तविक क्षमता के अनुरूप सेटिंग चुनें। YouTube encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions

3. Wi‑Fi की जगह wired Ethernet पर परीक्षण करें
OBS Wi‑Fi को streaming के लिए संभावित रूप से अस्थिर बताता है। Wi‑Fi पर stream कर रहे हों तो Ethernet से जोड़कर समान stream का परीक्षण करें। यदि wired connection पर भी drops रहें, तो Ethernet cable, router/modem, switch, extender और network card को क्रम से जाँचें। Cable बदलने से ISP congestion या खराब network route ठीक होने की गारंटी नहीं है। किसी Cat6 cable की जरूरत तभी है जब आप wired connection पर जा रहे हों या मौजूदा cable संदिग्ध हो।

4. VPN, सुरक्षा software और network utilities अलग-अलग जाँचें
VPN या security software OBS के connection में दखल दे सकते हैं। कुछ network-priority utilities OBS को कम प्राथमिकता भी दे सकती हैं। परीक्षण के लिए बदलाव एक बार में एक करें, ताकि कारण स्पष्ट रहे; परीक्षण के बाद सुरक्षा software फिर सक्रिय करें। पुराने network drivers भी समस्या का कारण हो सकते हैं। OBS की connection troubleshooting guidance में ये संभावनाएँ शामिल हैं।
5. उपलब्ध हो तो दूसरा ingest endpoint आज़माएँ
अगर encoder या सेवा में ingest endpoint चुनने का विकल्प है, तो दूसरे endpoint पर परीक्षण करें। इससे endpoint या route से जुड़ी समस्या का संकेत मिल सकता है, लेकिन हर setup में यह विकल्प उपलब्ध नहीं होता। लगातार समस्या पर अपने ISP को OBS logs और YouTube Live Control Room के error timestamps दें।

6. Dynamic bitrate को अस्थायी उपाय समझें
OBS का dynamic bitrate विकल्प network congestion के समय bitrate घटाकर drops कम कर सकता है। यह मूल connection समस्या का समाधान नहीं है: कम bitrate से चित्र की गुणवत्ता भी घट सकती है।
अगर OBS encoding या rendering overload बताए
Network dropped-frame counter न बढ़े, लेकिन encoding overloaded या rendering lag दिखे, तो सिर्फ bitrate बदलते रहना पर्याप्त नहीं। OBS के अनुसार frame rate rendering और encoding दोनों पर असर डालता है।
- Scene सरल करें और गैर-ज़रूरी browser sources तथा filters बंद करके जाँचें।
- अन्य GPU-heavy applications बंद करें।
- जरूरत हो तो output resolution या frame rate घटाएँ और दोबारा परीक्षण करें।
- Windows पर OBS को administrator के रूप में चलाना OBS का सुझाया गया शुरुआती GPU-overload उपाय है; यह सलाह Windows के लिए है।

YouTube ingest settings जाँचें
पहले Live Control Room का वास्तविक error पढ़ें। Format-related error आए, तभी उसी के अनुसार encoder बदलें; हर dropped-frame समस्या का कारण codec नहीं होता। YouTube की RTMP/RTMPS encoder guidance में H.264 video, AAC या MP3 audio, CBR और 2-second recommended keyframe interval (4 seconds से अधिक नहीं) शामिल हैं। YouTube RTMPS इस्तेमाल करने की भी सलाह देता है।
किसी stream को शुरू करने से पहले समान audio और video motion के साथ परीक्षण करें। YouTube की encoder setup प्रक्रिया और format guidance के लिए encoder settings guide और encoder के साथ YouTube live stream बनाने की guide देखें।

- Scheduled start से पहले encoder configure करके चलाएँ। Live Control Room में preview दिखने तक जाँचें कि सही stream आ रही है।
- Channel/watch page और mobile पर जाँचें। देख लें कि दर्शक stream ठीक से खोल पा रहे हैं।
- लंबे प्रसारण में audio और video लगातार monitor करें। Backup encoder हो तो उसका failover भी जाँचें; YouTube कोई एक आवश्यक backup architecture निर्धारित नहीं करता।
- Local archive पर नज़र रखें। यदि रिकॉर्डिंग कर रहे हैं, तो देखें कि archive file बढ़ रही है।
- हर बदलाव और रुकावट का समय लिखें। OBS counters/logs को YouTube के health messages और timestamps से मिलाने में यह उपयोगी होगा। Live Control Room metrics में stream status, अवधि और concurrent viewers देखे जा सकते हैं।

Kids stream की audience setting अलग से सही रखें
Live Control Room में stream की audience को सही रूप से “Made for Kids” या लागू अन्य विकल्प पर सेट करें। Made-for-kids content पर comments, live chat, notifications और personalized advertising सहित कुछ सुविधाएँ प्रतिबंधित होती हैं। ये audience restrictions हैं—network dropped frames का निदान या तकनीकी समाधान नहीं। YouTube audience settings
तुलना के लिए एक ही तरह के आँकड़े देखें
अलग configuration जाँचते समय codec, resolution, frame rate और ingest bitrate के साथ स्थिर upload headroom दर्ज करें। फिर OBS के network dropped-frame percentage और encoding/rendering lag, YouTube health messages और viewer-side buffering को अलग-अलग देखें। OBS में network drops और दर्शक की buffering एक ही माप नहीं हैं।
