24/7 streaming

How to Set Up a 24/7 Reiki Music Stream on YouTube

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

You can run a continuous Reiki music stream on YouTube by sending a prepared audio-and-visual feed from an encoder to YouTube’s Live Control Room. First verify that your channel is allowed to stream, secure the rights to every element in the broadcast, and test the feed and internet connection. YouTube does not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 uptime, and a stream longer than 12 hours should not be assumed to produce one intact replay.

What you need before you start

  • A YouTube channel with live streaming enabled and no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time enablement may take up to 24 hours, according to YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance.
  • A prepared audio-and-visual feed, such as music with a static or gently animated image. YouTube’s guidance does not prescribe a Reiki-specific format.
  • An encoder: software running on a computer or compatible standalone hardware. YouTube also describes cloud-based tools for continuous streaming of prerecorded video; that category description is not an endorsement of a particular service.
  • A stable internet connection with sufficient upload capacity. YouTube recommends upload bandwidth with 20% headroom over the total stream bitrate.
  • Permission to use the music and visual material in a livestream, plus any required Content ID allowlisting from the rights owner.

You do not inherently need expensive equipment. A wired Ethernet connection can be useful if your computer and network support it, but it is optional.

Prepare the music and visual responsibly

Choose material you are authorized to broadcast

Use music and visuals that you created or are authorized to use in a live broadcast. A licence must cover the relevant uses; owning a copy, subscribing to a listening service, or finding music online does not by itself establish livestream rights.

YouTube’s livestream terms say the creator represents that they have the necessary rights to exploit live content, including music rights from artists, record labels, publishers (including public-performance licences), and other royalty participants.

  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Check Content ID arrangements before the test

YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. It may replace the live image, warn you to stop using identified material, interrupt or terminate the stream, or act in connection with a copyright or Community Guidelines strike. If you have licensed third-party music, ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube warns that a licensed stream can still be interrupted without allowlisting, including in cases where the content is territory-restricted. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

Set up the stream in YouTube and your encoder

  1. Enable live streaming. In YouTube Studio, start the live-streaming activation process for your verified channel. Confirm there are no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
  2. Prepare the feed. Add your chosen music and authorized visual to your encoder setup. Check the audio level and ensure the visual is intentional and suitable for the entire broadcast.
  3. Create or schedule an encoder stream. In YouTube Studio, select Create > Go Live to open the Live Control Room, then create or schedule a stream using the encoder workflow. YouTube’s encoder setup instructions cover this route.
  4. Copy the connection details. Copy the stream URL and stream key shown in the Live Control Room into the encoder’s server and stream-key fields. Match the encoder’s output to the stream settings you intend to use.
  5. Keep the key private. Treat the stream key as a credential that lets your encoder send a feed to your channel. Do not share it publicly. If it is compromised, reset it in the Live Control Room and update the encoder with the new key.
  6. Start the encoder and inspect the preview. Send the feed first, then check that YouTube receives it in the Live Control Room before beginning the broadcast.
  7. Begin the broadcast and monitor it. Use the Live Control Room to start the stream. Keep monitoring audio and video quality while it runs.

Test reliability before calling it a 24/7 stream

A continuous stream depends on more than the initial connection: the encoder, power, and internet link all need to keep working. YouTube recommends testing the setup, checking the Live Control Room preview, confirming access from the channel or watch page and mobile devices, and monitoring audio and video. Its live-streaming troubleshooting guidance recommends leaving 20% upload-bandwidth headroom above the total stream bitrate. This is a planning margin, not a guarantee against interruptions.

Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
  • What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
  • Test the full feed long enough to catch audio dropouts, frozen visuals, unexpected restarts, or unstable upload performance.
  • Check the stream from another device, including a phone, rather than relying only on the encoder preview.
  • If you have a backup encoder, test the failover procedure before relying on it. YouTube’s troubleshooting guidance includes unplugging Ethernet as one way to simulate a connection failure; do this only in a planned test.
  • Decide how you will respond to a computer, power, or internet interruption. YouTube’s guidance does not promise uninterrupted uptime.

Plan for replays separately from continuous broadcasting

YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. If a dependable replay matters, plan sessions shorter than 12 hours and verify the resulting archive. The guidance does not establish what archive will be generated for a broadcast longer than 12 hours, so do not assume a 24/7 session becomes one intact replay.

Approach Useful when Trade-offs to plan for
StreamNeo You want uploaded, prerecorded video to loop to YouTube from the cloud. No computer or home connection has to stay on. It supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream; the first day is free with no card.
Software encoder on a computer You already have a computer and want control over a prepared audiovisual feed. The computer must stay powered and connected. Test resource use, restart and recovery behavior, and connection stability.
Standalone hardware encoder You already have dedicated production hardware or an established audio/video setup. There is a greater equipment commitment. Verify that the specific hardware is compatible with YouTube.
Another cloud-based approach You want a hosted option for continuous streaming of prerecorded video. Check the service’s current features, rights workflow, reliability, costs, and YouTube compatibility. YouTube’s description of cloud-based tools does not validate a particular provider.
