Not according to StreamYard’s documented prerecorded-stream workflow. It lets you schedule a video to broadcast to YouTube Live automatically, but StreamYard says the broadcast ends when the video finishes. Its instructions do not describe a built-in repeat or loop setting, so scheduling one video is not the same as keeping it on air continuously.
What StreamYard’s prerecorded broadcast does
StreamYard’s Pre-recorded Streaming guide describes a scheduled broadcast that begins automatically at the time you choose. Its stated behavior is: “The livestream will automatically start at the specified time, and end once the video is finished.” That supports a one-time scheduled play, not a documented continuous loop.
This is a conclusion about what StreamYard’s official instructions document; it is not a claim that every possible external workaround is impossible. If your requirement is for the same video to repeat indefinitely, the published workflow does not establish that StreamYard can do it by itself.
How to schedule a prerecorded video to YouTube
- In StreamYard, choose Create → Live Stream → Pre-recorded video.
- Upload a video file or select a past StreamYard recording, then choose YouTube as a destination.
- Set the broadcast date and time and schedule it. The stream starts at that time without you needing to be online.
StreamYard’s scheduling guide also describes choosing between going live from the studio and using a prerecorded video. Scheduling can be set up to 365 days ahead, according to StreamYard’s supported platforms and destinations guide.

File, duration, and YouTube link limits
StreamYard’s current help article lists these maximum prerecorded-video durations by plan. These are product limits published by StreamYard and may change as plans or features are updated.

The same guide specifies MP4 files with H.264 video encoding, a maximum upload bitrate of 10 Mbps, and streaming up to 1080p on paid plans. For an announcement scheduled through StreamYard, a YouTube watch link is available at the announcement-post time. Without an announcement, the destination link is not available until the stream goes live.

Don’t confuse a scheduled broadcast with studio video sharing
StreamYard also lets a host share long-form videos from inside a live studio, but that is a different workflow from scheduling an unattended prerecorded broadcast. The video-sharing guide says you can queue up to 10 videos, but they do not autoplay as a playlist: the host must play them sequentially. A shared video also cannot go live unless the host is in the studio.
