To create a 24/7 YouTube meditation music stream, prepare a continuous audio-and-visual feed, enable live streaming on your channel at least 24 hours ahead, send the feed through an encoder, test it as an unlisted broadcast, and clear the music rights before launch. YouTube does not guarantee an uninterrupted broadcast, so plan how the feed will keep running and how you will monitor it.
What you need before going live
- A YouTube channel with live streaming enabled and account verification completed.
- Meditation audio and visuals you have the right to use continuously on YouTube.
- An encoder workflow capable of sending the planned presentation as a continuous feed. YouTube for Artists says an encoder offers more customization and control than a simple mobile or webcam stream; it does not require dedicated hardware or endorse a particular encoder.
- A plan for keeping the feed running and checking it. The official guidance does not establish a particular computer specification, hosting method, or uptime guarantee.
Enable live streaming in advance
- In YouTube, select Create (+) → Go live → Enable.
- Complete phone verification if prompted.
- Allow at least 24 hours before your first planned live broadcast for access to be enabled. Leave time to run a test before promoting a fixed start time.

Choose audio and visuals that can run continuously in the format you intend to publish. Check that the sound is audible and stable, the visual remains present, and any transitions or repeats work as intended. These are practical preflight checks for a continuous broadcast, not a platform guarantee.
Choose how to send the feed
YouTube for Artists describes an encoder as the more controllable route compared with a simple mobile or webcam stream. That guidance supports using encoder software or hardware, but does not prescribe a brand, computer specification, or configuration. A 24/7 channel also needs a practical plan for ongoing operation and monitoring; the reviewed YouTube guidance does not guarantee that any particular setup will stay online indefinitely.

Clear music rights before launch
Use music you created and control, or obtain permission that explicitly covers the way you plan to use it. Before relying on a license, confirm directly with the rights holder whether it permits continuous YouTube live streaming, looping, monetization, archiving, and the territories you intend to serve. Those terms depend on the actual license.
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. A match may result in a placeholder image, a temporary interruption, or termination if the issue remains. For licensed third-party content, ask the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist: YouTube warns that a live stream can be interrupted even if you have a license but your channel is not allowlisted. A clean test or the absence of a claim during a broadcast does not establish that your rights are cleared. YouTube says Content ID claims on an archived live stream are made after the stream ends if you archive it; live matching is a separate concern. Plan rights clearance before launch rather than relying on a later archive check.
Choose a format for the viewing experience

Test the broadcast before launch
- Create a test broadcast and set its visibility to Unlisted.
- Start the encoder and check in YouTube Studio that the broadcast appears and receives the feed.
- Listen for stable, audible sound and confirm the visual is present throughout the test.
- Check the intended format on the devices and screen sizes your audience is likely to use.
- If you use the YouTube Live Streaming API to create broadcasts, its documentation describes testing a broadcast and checking that
streamStatusisactive; that status means YouTube’s servers are receiving encoder data. Receipt confirms feed delivery, not music rights clearance or a guarantee of future continuity.

Plan for a 24/7 schedule
A continuous channel needs more than a successful start: decide how the feed will continue and who or what will check it. The reviewed official sources explain setup, testing, and YouTube’s receipt of encoder data, but they do not establish a dependable 24/7 hosting method or promise uninterrupted service. Validate your own operating plan before treating the stream as continuously available.

For an Indian audience, make decisions about language, musical tradition, and broadcast timing from the channel’s intended audience and actual response. YouTube for Artists reported that over 30% of daily logged-in YouTube viewers watched live content in Q2 2025; that is a broad platform statistic, not evidence of India-specific demand for meditation music.
