Signature adds a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, a 3× optical periscope camera, wireless charging, and a stated seven-year software-support commitment. HONOR 90’s headline hardware includes a 200MP main camera and a curved 120Hz display. There is no verified like-for-like ratings comparison, and the available prices are from different countries, so neither establishes an overall value winner.

Specifications are manufacturer claims, not results from a controlled head-to-head test. Peak-brightness figures may use different test conditions; they should not be read as a direct screen-brightness ranking. Motorola also notes that some Signature specifications vary by market. Motorola’s India specifications and HONOR’s UK specifications are the references for the figures above.
Price: why the available figures do not decide the winner
The available observations are from different markets and are time-sensitive, so they are not a like-for-like price comparison.
- Motorola Signature, India: Motorola’s store result showed ₹59,999 against an MRP of ₹74,999. A separate Gadgets 360 report observed ₹58,899 on Amazon on 11 September 2026. Treat both as listing observations, not guaranteed checkout prices. Motorola India store; Gadgets 360 price report.
- HONOR 90, UK: HONOR’s UK page showed a promotional £269.99 offer for the 12GB/512GB model with a code. Check whether the offer and code still apply. This UK promotion cannot be compared directly with an India price. HONOR UK buying page.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Performance and everyday use
The Signature’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage put it in a higher hardware tier on paper than the HONOR 90’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition. That points to Signature as the stronger specification-led choice for demanding apps and games, but published component names alone do not quantify the difference in real-world speed. No matched benchmark results are established here.
Configuration matters too: Motorola lists Signature memory options of 12GB or 16GB and storage up to 1TB, while the consulted HONOR UK page lists 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB versions. Availability can differ by country.

Displays: higher refresh ceiling or a curved panel?
Signature has the higher stated refresh-rate ceiling at 165Hz, with LTPO and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. HONOR 90 offers a 120Hz AMOLED display with a slightly smaller diagonal. If scrolling smoothness and the newer display feature list are priorities, Signature leads on listed specifications; the HONOR’s curved screen may be the more appealing form factor for some buyers.
The manufacturers’ peak-brightness claims—up to 6200 nits for Signature and 1600 nits for HONOR 90 on its UK page—do not establish which screen is brighter in ordinary use because the figures may be measured under different conditions.

Cameras: optical zoom versus a 200MP main sensor
Choose based on the kinds of shots you take rather than the largest megapixel number. Signature has three 50MP rear cameras, including a dedicated 3× optical periscope telephoto camera; Motorola lists OIS for the main and telephoto cameras. That gives it a specified optical-zoom option that HONOR 90’s listed rear-camera setup does not provide.
HONOR 90 instead centers its system on a 200MP main camera, paired with a 12MP ultrawide/macro camera and a 2MP depth camera. Its specification page lists 4K video recording. A 200MP label does not by itself show that photos will be better: image quality depends on more than sensor resolution, and no matched sample gallery or independent camera test is established here.

Battery, charging and durability
Motorola lists a 5200mAh battery with up to 90W wired, 50W wireless and reverse charging. HONOR lists a 5000mAh typical battery (4900mAh rated) and 66W wired charging. Capacity and charging ratings do not establish battery runtime; screen, chipset, software and usage all affect how long a phone lasts between charges.
Motorola also lists IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD 810H testing for Signature. Its support page states up to seven years of OS upgrades and security patches. The consulted HONOR UK specification sheet does not establish an equivalent support promise or an IP rating; that is not proof that the phone has no protection or that it receives no updates. Confirm the applicable policy and rating for the exact regional model before buying.

Connectivity and regional checks
For Signature in India, Motorola lists Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC and dual SIM using a nano-SIM plus eSIM, alongside supported bands. Because specifications may vary by market, confirm the exact local SKU before purchase. Check carrier-band compatibility, eSIM availability, warranty coverage and service arrangements in your country rather than assuming another region’s configuration applies.
Ratings: no fair numerical comparison is established
A reliable, same-publisher rating pair with a shared scale, methodology, date and model variant was not established for these two phones. Combining a retailer score with a review score—or scores published at different times—would create a misleading comparison. For a numerical verdict, use one publication’s ratings for both models and check the scale, review date and tested configuration. A battery test or benchmark for one phone is not a substitute for a matched overall rating.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the Motorola Signature if you want the newer, higher-tier listed processor, a dedicated 3× optical periscope camera, wireless charging, the listed durability ratings or Motorola’s stated support period.
- Consider the HONOR 90 if its curved 120Hz AMOLED display and 200MP main-camera hardware suit your preferences, and you can verify a meaningfully lower price in your market.
- Pause before deciding on value if you are comparing the India Signature listings with the UK HONOR offer: they are neither from the same market nor guaranteed current prices.
