You can keep a Hanuman bhajan stream live on YouTube by sending a continuous feed from an encoder on a computer or from a cloud service that loops uploaded videos. First enable live streaming for your verified channel, clear the rights to every song and recording, then create an encoder stream in YouTube Studio and test it before going live. Choose what your 24/7 stream will play
Decide whether you will broadcast a live performance or loop a playlist of prerecorded bhajans. YouTube supports encoder-based live streams for either kind of program. A playlist can help maintain a continuous feed, but using a recording is not a rights shortcut: you need the necessary rights for every track and recording you stream.
Live performance or prerecorded playlist
- Live performance: Send the camera and audio feed through an encoder. Make sure you have rights for the compositions and any other protected material performed.
- Prerecorded playlist: Prepare the video files and arrange them to play continuously using a local encoder workflow or a cloud continuous-streaming service. Check each recording’s rights before adding it.
YouTube’s encoder guidance lists OBS as free streaming software and also names Gyre as a cloud service for 24/7 streaming of prerecorded videos. These are examples, not requirements or a comparison of their cost or reliability. YouTube’s encoder setup guide describes the available workflow.
Clear music and recording rights before you go live
YouTube places responsibility on the creator to obtain the necessary worldwide rights for live content, including music licensing rights. A bhajan being devotional, traditional, or freely available online does not by itself establish that a particular recording or arrangement is cleared. Rights can involve the composition, arrangement, performance, and sound recording, so check the permissions for the exact material and your intended use. Check Content ID and allowlisting
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content matches. A match can cause a warning, replacement with a placeholder, interruption, or termination. If a rights holder has licensed your use, ask whether they must add your channel to a Content ID allowlist. YouTube Help warns: “If your channel isn’t added to their allowlist, your live stream can be interrupted even if you’ve licensed the content.” Read YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams and monitor Live Control Room while broadcasting.
Enable live streaming on your channel in advance
- Verify your YouTube channel and check that it has no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. YouTube’s eligibility guidance sets this as a requirement; it does not mean a restriction necessarily expires automatically after that period. See Get started with live streaming.
- Enable live streaming in YouTube Studio. First-time activation may take up to 24 hours, so do this well before the planned broadcast. Follow YouTube’s live-stream setup guidance.
- Open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. Choose the encoder option and keep the Live Control Room available for the preview and stream-health checks.
Set up an encoder feed
YouTube’s encoder workflow uses a stream URL and stream key to connect your encoder to the Live Control Room. Treat the key as a password: anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your stream. Copy it only into the encoder or cloud service you intend to use, and reset it in YouTube if it is exposed.

- In Live Control Room, create or schedule the broadcast and select the encoder stream.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown by YouTube.
- In your encoder, select a supported video and audio output, then enter YouTube’s URL and key in the streaming destination settings.
- For a prerecorded playlist, configure the encoder or service to play the videos in sequence or loop. For a live performance, select the camera and audio sources you will actually use.
- Start the encoder feed and wait for the preview in Live Control Room. Check the picture, sound, and stream health before starting the public broadcast.

Choose resolution, bitrate, and a stable connection
Set the output based on the source material, encoder, and available upload bandwidth; a higher resolution is not automatically better if the connection cannot sustain it. YouTube’s recommendations vary by codec and output. For H.264 at 30 fps, its current guidance recommends 6 Mbps for 720p and 10 Mbps for 1080p. These are YouTube recommendations for those specific settings, not universal bitrates for every codec, frame rate, or connection. Check YouTube’s encoder settings and bitrate table for the combination you plan to use.

- Use RTMP or RTMPS as supported by your encoder and YouTube’s current instructions.
- Use constant bitrate (CBR) when following YouTube’s generic encoder guidance.
- Set the keyframe interval to two seconds, YouTube’s recommended interval in its generic guidance.
- Use AAC or MP3 audio as supported by the encoder settings you choose. Listen for clipping, silence, or an unexpectedly low level during the preview.
- Test the actual upload connection before the broadcast. YouTube recommends about 20% upload-bandwidth headroom above the total stream bitrate; if you use primary and backup ingestion, allow for both streams plus that margin.
Run a private or otherwise suitable test, then check YouTube’s streaming tips and the stream-health indicators in Live Control Room. A speed test alone cannot confirm that the full stream remains stable over time.
Keep the feed running and monitored
A local setup needs the computer, encoder, and network connection to remain active. A cloud service can run uploaded-video loops without a computer at home. Either way, plan how someone will notice a dropped feed, copyright warning, muted audio, or other issue; “24/7” does not mean YouTube rights checks or monitoring can be ignored.

Option 1: Run an encoder on your own computer
Use a computer running OBS or another encoder, connect the video/audio sources or playlist, and send the feed to YouTube using the stream URL and key. Keep the machine awake, the encoder running, and the internet connection available. This approach gives you direct control of the local setup, but a power, software, or connection failure can stop the outgoing feed.

YouTube’s encoder setup guide says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That guidance does not promise a complete single archived replay for a continuous 24-hour stream. If you need a full-length replay or dependable archive, plan a separate recording or split the broadcast into shorter sessions, and check the current archive behavior in Studio. Troubleshoot common stream problems
- Live streaming is not available: Verify the channel and check the restriction status; if this is your first activation, allow up to 24 hours for enablement.
- No preview appears: Confirm the encoder is sending to the stream URL with the correct key, and that the encoder has actually started output. Keep the key private; if you suspect exposure, replace it.
- Stream health reports instability or buffering: Reduce resolution or bitrate to a level the connection can sustain, then test again. Check upload capacity and preserve YouTube’s recommended headroom.
- YouTube warns about a copyright match or interrupts the feed: Stop and resolve the claim with the rights holder. Confirm the necessary rights and ask about Content ID allowlisting before restarting.
- Video is present but there is no sound: Check the encoder’s selected audio input and output, confirm the source is not muted, and listen to the Live Control Room preview.
- The 24-hour replay is incomplete or absent: YouTube’s cited automatic archive guidance covers streams under 12 hours, not a complete single archive for a longer run. Use a separate recording/archive plan.
Run a preflight check before publishing
- Channel verification and live-stream eligibility are confirmed; first-time enablement is complete.
- Rights are checked for every composition, performance, arrangement, and recording used; any needed allowlisting is arranged.
- The stream URL and private key are entered correctly in the selected encoder or service.
- Video, audio, bitrate, keyframe interval, and upload headroom have been tested in the intended configuration.
- The Live Control Room preview is clear, stream health is acceptable, and a person knows how to respond to alerts or a drop.
- A separate plan exists for recordings or replays longer than YouTube’s stated automatic archive duration.
