What Progress reported for the quarter
In its September 30 SEC-filed release, Progress reported revenue of $246.005 million, down 2% from $249.795 million in fiscal Q3 2025. The company said the 2% decline was the same on an actual and constant-currency basis.

GAAP diluted EPS was $0.55, compared with $0.44 a year earlier. Non-GAAP diluted EPS was $1.69, compared with $1.50. The $1.69 figure is the adjusted measure used in the Investing.com estimate comparison; it should not be confused with GAAP earnings.
Recurring revenue, margins and cash
- Annualized recurring revenue (ARR) was $873 million, up 1% year over year on a constant-currency basis.
- Operating margin was 19% on a GAAP basis and 43% on a non-GAAP basis.
- Cash and cash equivalents at quarter end were $113.7 million.
Progress’s CFO Anthony Folger characterized execution as strong, citing ARR growth, adjusted free cash flow growth of more than 17%, and a 43% non-GAAP operating margin. That is management’s assessment, not an independent measure of performance. The company says non-GAAP measures are not prepared in accordance with GAAP or intended as alternatives to GAAP results; it provides reconciliations in its release.
