ULTRALOQ announced three smart locks on September 25, 2026: the Bolt Mission, which is designed for hands-free approach entry; the Bolt Pro, a wallet-tap deadbolt with several other entry methods; and the Latch 5 Pro, a wallet-enabled lever lock. The key choice is whether you want approach-based unlocking or a tap, and whether your door uses a deadbolt or lever hardware.
What the three ULTRALOQ locks do
| Model | Designed for | Announced U.S. MSRP | Entry and access details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bolt Mission | Residential front-door deadbolt | $299.99 | Hands-free approach entry using BLE discovery, UWB ranging, radar-based presence sensing and local decision logic, according to ULTRALOQ. |
| Bolt Pro | Deadbolt | $269.99 | Aliro-certified wallet access, fingerprint, PIN, app and physical key. |
| Latch 5 Pro | Lever-style door | $249.99 | Wallet access for lever-style side doors, home offices, garage-entry doors, rentals and shared spaces. |
These prices are the U.S. MSRPs in ULTRALOQ’s September 25, 2026 announcement, not independently checked live retail prices. The announcement said online availability through Home Depot would begin in October 2026; it does not establish current stock or availability through other retailers. ULTRALOQ’s launch announcement and its Intelligent Access Hub list the models and prices.
How Bolt Mission’s hands-free entry is supposed to work
ULTRALOQ describes Bolt Mission as using several signals together rather than unlocking solely because a phone is nearby: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) discovery identifies a nearby device, UWB measures its range, radar senses presence, and local decision logic assesses the approach. The company says the app can run in the background and that no separate hub is required for hands-free entry. These are manufacturer descriptions; independent performance or reliability testing is not established here.
UWB support is a specific hardware requirement. ULTRALOQ Support says Bolt Mission’s UWB Auto Unlock works with iPhones and Android phones that include a UWB chip, and warns that supported models can vary by region and hardware version. An iPhone SE lacks UWB, and many standard Galaxy S and Pixel models also lack it, so a series or brand name alone is not enough to confirm compatibility. Check the current ULTRALOQ Support phone compatibility list before choosing the lock.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Wallet access: Bolt Pro versus Latch 5 Pro
Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro center on tapping a digital wallet credential instead of unlocking automatically as you approach. Bolt Pro is a deadbolt and adds fingerprint, PIN, app and physical-key entry. Latch 5 Pro is for a lever-style door; its form factor makes it the relevant option when replacing suitable lever hardware rather than a deadbolt.
Wallet support is not universal. ULTRALOQ says availability depends on the lock model, phone hardware, operating system, region and wallet platform. Confirm that your particular phone and wallet are supported for the exact model. The company also says its app may still be needed for setup, device management and advanced controls even when everyday entry uses a wallet credential or hands-free access. Aliro and Matter have different roles
In ULTRALOQ’s explanation, Aliro is the open mobile-access standard for digital credentials, while Matter connects supported devices to smart-home ecosystems. The launch announcement describes Aliro as developed by the Connectivity Standards Alliance with support from Apple, Google and Samsung. That does not mean every wallet, phone or platform works with every lock.
ULTRALOQ says all three announced models are Matter Certified and compatible with Apple Home, Google Home and other platforms. It specifically lists Samsung SmartThings integration for Bolt Pro and Latch 5 Pro, including automations triggered by lock activity. Check the launch announcement and current model-specific support information for platform and feature availability.

Check the door before choosing a model
Start with the hardware already installed: Bolt Mission and Bolt Pro are deadbolts, while Latch 5 Pro is a lever lock. ULTRALOQ advises checking door dimensions, handing, backset and installation requirements before purchase. A phone or wallet feature cannot compensate for a lock that does not fit the door.
- Choose Bolt Mission if hands-free approach entry is the priority and your phone model is on ULTRALOQ’s current UWB support list.
- Choose Bolt Pro if you need a deadbolt and prefer wallet tap, with fingerprint, PIN, app and physical key also listed as entry methods.
- Consider Latch 5 Pro if the door uses compatible lever hardware and wallet access is the desired entry method.
- Verify the specific smart-home platform, phone, wallet and regional availability you plan to use rather than assuming support from a brand name.
What ULTRALOQ means by “first”
ULTRALOQ calls Bolt Mission “the industry’s first” UWB-enabled smart lock. That is the company’s claim, not an independently established industry-wide first: Aqara announced its UWB-powered Smart Lock U400 at CES 2026, and the available announcements do not establish whether ULTRALOQ is claiming a narrower feature or certification category. See the Aqara U400 announcement alongside ULTRALOQ’s wording.
