Nick Minicucci did not play when Delaware hosted Liberty on October 2, 2026. RotoWire reported he was out with a leg injury; Delaware’s official box score shows Liberty won 30-14.
Why was Nick Minicucci out against Liberty?
RotoWire reported on October 2 that Minicucci was sidelined by a leg injury. He had been knocked out of Delaware’s Week 4 loss to Virginia and did not return. A Delaware News Journal report described the issue as a knee injury, but the available reports do not establish an official diagnosis.
Delaware head coach Ryan Carty declined to clarify the injury or quarterback depth chart. As Kevin Tresolini reported in the Delaware News Journal on September 30, Carty said, “We don’t discuss injuries or depth charts,” and added, “It’s been our policy since I’ve been here, and so we’re preparing everybody to go win on Friday.”
