Jio’s 10th-anniversary offer is reported to bundle a JioBharat 4G phone with recharge benefits for ₹1,499. However, the official terms reviewed do not identify which JioBharat models qualify, so confirm the exact model and seller eligibility with Jio or the seller before buying. The offer is scheduled to run from 15 September through 20 October 2026, unless Jio changes or extends it.
Which JioBharat phones qualify?
The official Jio offer terms describe eligibility for an approved device purchased and first activated on Jio during the offer period, but do not name qualifying phone models. Gadgets 360 reported the bundle price as ₹1,499 and likewise said Jio had not specified which JioBharat models qualify. Do not assume that every JioBharat 4G phone, or a phone bought from any seller, is eligible. Check the exact model and purchase channel before paying.
Eligible subscribers must be Indian citizens and existing or new Jio mobility subscribers, including port-ins, and must meet the other conditions in the terms. Jio says it may approve devices sold by a third-party vendor, distributor or authorised seller; the terms reviewed do not confirm that a particular retailer or marketplace listing qualifies.
What “six months” of benefits means
The offer is structured as up to six consecutive 28-day recharge cycles—not six calendar months. Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited’s 2026 terms list these benefits for each cycle:

To receive each recharge, the same eligible Jio number and device IMEI must remain paired for the cycle. The Jio SIM must stay in the phone’s primary SIM slot. Benefits cannot be accumulated, transferred or exchanged for cash.
Is ₹299 the price you pay?
No. The reported upfront bundle price is ₹1,499. Gadgets 360 attributes the ₹299 “effective” handset-cost comparison to Jio’s estimate that a typical 2G user would otherwise spend around ₹199 per month on recharges—nearly ₹1,200 over six months. That estimate is subtracted from the bundle price; it is not a cash discount or refund, and the six-cycle term is 168 days rather than six full calendar months.

The official terms also disclose a ₹950 one-time charge (OTC) against anniversary benefits, allocated upfront for delivery and enablement of benefits and partner merchants. Jio says the charge is fully earned upon recharge execution. Consider this provision alongside the bundle price and the actual value of benefits you expect to use.

Moneycontrol’s 30 September 2026 report describes the JioBharat phone in the offer context as having a 2.4-inch display, 2,000mAh battery and 4G connectivity, with features including JioPay UPI payments and Jio entertainment services. This reporting does not establish which specific model qualifies; verify the model’s features and offer eligibility with the seller or Jio.

The official offer window is 00:01 on 15 September 2026 through 23:59 on 20 October 2026. Jio reserves discretion to extend or terminate the offer, so check the live terms before purchasing. Jio also states that “Network availability, service quality and application experience remain subject to coverage and technical limitations.” Check Jio coverage where you plan to use the phone; the offer does not guarantee signal quality or a particular app experience.

What to verify before buying
- Ask the seller or Jio to confirm that the exact phone model and seller are approved for the anniversary offer.
- Confirm that you can buy and first activate the device on Jio within the offer window.
- Check that you can keep the eligible Jio SIM in the primary slot and maintain the same number-device IMEI pairing for each cycle you want to claim.
- Compare the ₹1,499 upfront price and ₹950 charge provision with the specific recharge benefits and vouchers you expect to use; treat ₹299 as an estimated effective-cost comparison, not the checkout price.
- Check Jio coverage and confirm the phone supports the functions you need, such as calls, UPI or entertainment services.
