A contemporaneous 24NewsHD report attributed the cancellations generally to technical issues, but did not identify a specific fault or establish that all six flights shared one cause.
Which flights were listed as cancelled?
The Karachi Airport schedule page showed the following departures as cancelled. Its listing was marked updated at 03:10 PKT on 2 October 2026; the displayed schedule times below are reproduced from that page, which does not specify their time zone in the retrieved listing.
| Airline | Flight | Destination | Scheduled time shown | Route |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PIA | PK-370 | Islamabad | 20:00 | Domestic |
| PIA | PK-304 | Lahore | 14:00 | Domestic |
| PIA | PK-536 | Sukkur | 17:40 | Domestic |
| AirSial | PF-143 | Lahore | 12:15 | Domestic |
| Airblue | PA-110 | Dubai | 17:00 | International |
| Airblue | PA-402 | Lahore | 13:30 | Domestic |
The airport listing is a point-in-time status record, not confirmation of later replacement service, rebooking or the final disposition of each passenger’s trip. See the Karachi Airport flight schedule for schedule information.
What is known about the technical issue?
24NewsHD’s report described the cancellations as being over “technical issues.” It did not name the fault, assign separate causes to the flights or show that one technical problem affected all six. The available reporting also contains no attributable statement from PIA, AirSial, Airblue, the airport operator or a regulator explaining this incident. The cause should therefore be treated as a general report attribution, not a confirmed description of a particular aircraft defect or airport-system failure. 24NewsHD’s 2 October report lists the same six flights.

What should affected passengers do?
Because the published schedule is dated, travellers should not rely on it as a current flight-status check. Confirm the flight directly with the operating airline or airport, check the booking for notifications, and contact the carrier about rebooking or other arrangements. Have the flight number and booking details available when contacting the airline.
