The $160 AAVE figure is a scenario, not a guaranteed price target: the article presenting it gives no probability, deadline, or quantitative valuation model. Separately, Remittix says it has opened a limited PayFi test to 1,000 selected RTX holders. That is a product milestone, not evidence that either token will rise. The two developments concern different products and come from different kinds of sources.
What does the $160 AAVE scenario mean?
TechBullion’s October 2, 2026 article frames $160 as a possible AAVE price scenario that would require sustained demand for AAVE and continued activity on the Aave protocol. It does not specify when that price might be reached, assign a probability, or show a quantitative model supporting the figure. Treat it as a conditional discussion, not a forecast with an established target date.
Protocol growth can be relevant context, but it is not a direct token valuation. Aave Labs’ October 1, 2026 development update reported that Aave V4 deposits surpassed $1 billion and active loans reached $310 million during September. The update also reported deployments on Arc and Base. Those figures describe activity in V4; on their own, they do not establish what AAVE should be worth or whether it will reach $160. What can selected Remittix holders test?
In a release dated October 2, 2026, Remittix said 1,000 selected RTX holders could access an early PayFi test. The project described initial settlement options in euros and US dollars, with USDT and USDC support across selected networks. Remittix characterized the test as a way for users to try moving digital assets into EUR and USD settlement.

How do Aave and Remittix differ?
| Question | Aave | Remittix |
|---|---|---|
| What is the product? | A DeFi protocol for supplying and borrowing assets; the cited operational figures concern Aave V4. Aave Labs update | A project-described PayFi service intended to connect supported digital assets with fiat settlement through compatible banking routes. Remittix announcement |
| What stage is described? | Aave Labs reported V4 deposits above $1 billion and $310 million in active loans during September 2026. These are dated protocol metrics. Aave Labs update | Remittix described early access for 1,000 selected RTX holders, with initial EUR and USD settlement options. This is an issuer-reported test milestone. Remittix announcement |
| What does it establish about token price? | The TechBullion article’s $160 scenario has no stated probability, target date, or quantitative valuation model. Protocol activity alone does not prove that price. TechBullion article | The product announcement is not independent valuation evidence for RTX. Remittix announcement |
What other Remittix figures were announced?
The same October 2 Remittix release reported more than $50 million in Markets volume and over 10,000 iOS wallet downloads. It said Android was awaiting approval and that Earn was nearing release, advertising yields of up to 22% APY on qualifying assets. These are issuer-reported statements, not independently audited figures or guarantees that an advertised yield will be available. The release does not provide independent confirmation of product performance or the availability, conditions, or duration of that yield. See the release’s reported ecosystem figures.

How should readers assess the two developments?
- Keep price scenarios separate from operating metrics. Aave V4 deposits and loans show reported protocol activity; they are not a valuation model for AAVE.
- Distinguish a test announcement from proven service performance. Remittix’s selected-holder access describes an early test, not verified settlement results or broad public availability.
- Check attribution and dates. Aave’s figures come from its October 1, 2026 development update; Remittix’s test and ecosystem figures come from the company’s October 2 release.
- Do not treat either milestone as a short-term price signal by itself. Aave lending and Remittix payment flows are different use cases, and neither announcement establishes a token’s future market price.
