NACON announced the Revolution 5 Unlimited on October 2, 2026, describing it as a premium, asymmetric controller officially licensed for PS5. Its standout announced feature is a built-in screen for changing audio mix, joystick sensitivity, shortcut mapping and other controller settings without leaving a game. NACON also lists PC and Android Smart TV support, TMR magnetic sticks, configurable triggers and buttons, a charging dock and a storage case.
What the built-in screen can adjust
NACON says players can use the integrated control screen to make adjustments during play. The listed controls include:
- Audio mix
- Joystick sensitivity
- Shortcut mapping
- Controller system settings
The screen is intended to make these changes accessible on the controller rather than requiring players to leave a game and navigate elsewhere. The announcement describes this as an instant-adjustment feature; it does not provide independent testing of how quickly or easily those adjustments work in practice.
Sticks, buttons and trigger options
TMR magnetic joystick technology
NACON specifies TMR, or Tunneling Magnetoresistance, technology for the joysticks. The company says the magnetic approach is intended to improve reliability, precision and power consumption. Those are manufacturer claims: the announcement does not give measurement methods or independent test results for this controller, so it does not establish how the sticks compare with those in other controllers.

Micro-switch buttons and configurable triggers
The listed hardware also includes micro-switch action buttons and trigger blockers with an instant-trigger operation. NACON additionally advertises remappable shortcut buttons and a Shooter Pro Mode. The announcement describes these as features for players who want more control over button and trigger behavior, but it does not publish independent performance findings.
Compatibility and configuration
NACON announces support for PS5, PC and Android Smart TVs, along with a dedicated iOS and Android app for advanced configuration. The company says the app includes options such as shortcut-key mapping and gyro configuration, and that the controller has a dedicated PC mode.

- HALL EFFECT MAGNETIC TECHNOLOGY: Joysticks and triggers benefit from greatly enhanced precision and durability through magnetic effect, preventing "joystick drift".
- INSTANT ADJUSTABLE TRIGGERS: With precision micro-switch components for ultra-reactive gameplay. Plus, four vibration motors - two in the handles and two in the triggers.
- HIGH PERFORMANCE PC MODE: Ultra-low latency reduced to 1ms with wired connection and 2ms with wireless connection, Gyroscope function to simulate a joystick or the D-pad. Mapping of PC keyboard keys to controller buttons.
- EXTENSIVE PHYSICAL CUSTOMIZATION: With a 4-way and 6-way D-pad, 3 sets of weights, 3 sets of joystick heads (concave, convex, high-dome), 2 sets of joystick rings (medium, large), a storage case, and more than 60 customization combinations.
- ADVANCED SOFTWARE CUSTOMIZATIONS VIA LCD SCREEN: Easy and intuitive customization, mapping programming, and audio source mixing right on the controller.
There is an important platform qualification: the announcement states that PC compatibility has not been tested or endorsed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. NACON advertises “ultra-low 1ms latency” for PC, but that figure is a manufacturer claim, not an independently verified measurement in the available coverage.

The manufacturer announcement establishes what NACON says the controller includes and which platforms it intends to support. It does not establish measured accuracy, durability, battery life, latency performance or superiority over competing controllers. TechRadar’s same-day report corroborated the announced pricing and highlighted the built-in-screen concept, but it was not a hands-on review of this model.

NACON Accessories Division Director Yannick Allaert characterized the product as “a state-of-the-art instrument” for competitive and demanding players. That is the company’s promotional description, not an independent evaluation. For a practical buying decision, the key distinction is whether the on-controller adjustments and configuration options matter to you; comparative performance evidence is not available in the announcement and same-day report.
