In Italy, the supported route is to subscribe to an eligible TIMVISION package that includes Netflix. The charge goes on a TIM fixed-line invoice for eligible fixed-line customers; for mobile customers, it is taken from TIM mobile credit, not a traditional bill.
What you need before you start
- An eligible TIM line or another qualifying route shown in the current TIMVISION offer. Eligibility varies by offer and signup channel.
- Access to MyTIM and the email address or mobile number associated with your TIM account.
- If you already subscribe to Netflix, your existing Netflix email and password. Use these if you want to link the current account rather than create another one.
- If you are signing up against a mobile line, enough credit to cover the recurring charge.
TIM’s current offer page displayed TIMVISION con Netflix from €7.99 per month when checked on August 18, 2026, with Netflix Standard with ads included. Some displayed offers are for eligible new TIMVISION customers who already have a TIM connectivity offer, and the page showed validity through September 9, 2026. How to activate Netflix through TIM
- Open TIM’s TIMVISION con Netflix offer page and choose the offer you want.
- Select the purchase control, such as “Continua,” and confirm that the offer is available for your TIM line and signup channel.
- Review the order summary, including the included Netflix plan, price, any activation contribution, promotional period, and renewal conditions. Complete the TIM order.
- Wait for TIM’s email or SMS titled “Completa la Registrazione.” If you have access to MyTIM, you can also check for a pending registration step there.
- Open the activation link and choose the Netflix registration option. If you already have Netflix, sign in with the email and password for that account. If not, create an account through the activation flow.
- Accept the applicable terms and finish linking the account. If prompted, reload the page or sign in again.
- Open Netflix and check that the account is active under the TIMVISION package.
TIM also lists MyTIM and, where applicable, the TIMVISION Box or its Netflix app as ways to begin activation. Some fixed-line activation flows may require connecting from the TIM home network. See TIM’s registration instructions.

TIM’s service information describes mobile-line payment through credit. The precise billing timing and any first-invoice adjustment depend on the offer terms. A fixed-line invoice can include a partial charge for the activation month as well as a full charge for the next period; compare an unexpectedly high first bill with your order confirmation and the terms for your offer before treating it as an error.

How to link an existing Netflix account without paying twice
During TIM activation, sign in to the Netflix account you already use. TIM says Netflix continues to bill the old payment method separately until that account is linked. After a successful link, the previous Netflix payment method should be suspended while the TIMVISION package remains active.
Using a different email address can create a second Netflix account. The old subscription may then keep charging, while the new account has different profiles and viewing history. Link the account you want to keep. Netflix access and account features remain subject to the package and Netflix’s current rules; for example, some accounts with extra-member slots may not be eligible for a partner package. Check Netflix’s extra-member eligibility information if that applies to you.

If Netflix was billed through Apple, Google, or another bundle provider, don’t assume that billing will stop automatically. Check that provider’s account and resolve its subscription separately if needed. Netflix explains how partner billing affects an account.
How to confirm billing moved to TIM
- Netflix: Sign in to your account in a browser and inspect membership, payment or billing information, and recent payments. Partner-paid subscriptions may display payment details differently. See Netflix’s payment-method guidance.
- MyTIM: Check that the TIMVISION service is active on the intended line and look for any outstanding registration step or package charge. TIM explains service management here.
- Your TIM account: For a fixed line, check the applicable invoice. For a mobile line, check the line’s credit and service details.
If the activation message does not arrive
- Check the email address registered with TIM, including spam, junk, promotions, and blocked-message folders.
- Check SMS messages sent to the TIM account holder.
- Sign in to MyTIM and open the TV/Calcio or TIMVISION section to look for Netflix or a pending “Completa la Registrazione” action.
- Confirm that the offer is active, not merely ordered.
- If the registration step is still missing, contact TIM: call 187 for a fixed-line account or 119 for a mobile account.
Avoid starting a second Netflix subscription while you wait unless you intentionally want a separate account.

If Netflix still charges your old card or PayPal account
First determine whether the TIM link is complete and whether you used the same Netflix account that had the old payment method. Then follow this sequence:
- Sign out of Netflix, reopen the original TIM activation link, and sign in with the previously billed Netflix account.
- In a browser, check the Netflix account’s billing details rather than relying only on the mobile app.
- In MyTIM, confirm that the Netflix package is active on the correct line.
- If Netflix came through another provider, check that provider’s account for a separate active subscription.
- If TIM confirms the package is active but you cannot link the account, contact TIM. If the link is confirmed but Netflix still shows an unexpected billing state, contact Netflix. Netflix’s guidance for partner-billing issues directs customers to the partner account where appropriate.
A charge from before the account was linked may not indicate a new duplicate charge. Compare its date with the activation date and the billing period.

What the offer costs—and what to compare
TIM displayed TIMVISION con Netflix from €7.99 per month on August 18, 2026. That starting price applied to the offer shown at that time, with Netflix Standard with ads as the included Netflix plan; it is not a guaranteed price for every customer or a permanent rate. TIM’s page showed some offers as valid through September 9, 2026, so check the current terms if ordering after that date. Package contents, eligibility, promotional and renewal prices, activation charges, and available upgrades can differ. The live checkout and offer terms control.
Published terms for certain TIM offers describe the possibility of keeping a higher Netflix plan, such as Standard or Premium, for an additional charge. Availability and the supplement depend on the offer; verify the amount and billing route in your order flow rather than assuming Netflix’s direct plan price applies.

A TIMVISION package may suit someone who wants its bundled services and consolidated billing. Direct Netflix may be a better fit if you want Netflix alone, prefer not to tie it to a telecom account, or want to avoid the included ad-supported plan. Compare the ongoing price after any promotion, not just the initial monthly figure.
What happens when you cancel TIMVISION
Outcomes depend on the package and account history. TIM’s terms for certain offers say that an existing Netflix customer’s previous billing conditions can be restored after the TIMVISION offer ends. A customer who created a new Netflix account through the package may need to add a valid payment method to keep using it. Check Netflix account status and the TIM cancellation confirmation for the effective end date; access and final billing can depend on the billing cycle.
Before cancelling, check whether the specific offer lets you remove Netflix alone or requires cancelling the whole TIMVISION package, and whether a promotion, activation contribution, renewal, or final partial-period charge is affected. TIM says its TV offers can generally be cancelled without a deactivation fee, but the terms for your specific offer govern. See TIMVISION service management and the applicable Netflix offer terms.
