Lenovo announced the Tab K10 Gen 2 in India on February 24, 2025, with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and two connectivity options: Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi plus 4G LTE. It is a 10.1-inch Android tablet aimed at everyday use, not a premium or gaming-focused device. Lenovo’s global specifications cover more configurations than Indian retail listings, so memory, storage, price and availability depend on the exact model.
What was announced, and where?
Indian launch coverage reported the Lenovo Tab K10 Gen 2 announcement on February 24, 2025. The reported model codes are TB311FU for Wi-Fi and TB311XU for Wi-Fi plus 4G. Those model codes identify the connectivity variants; they do not establish a worldwide launch. Lenovo’s specifications confirm the product, but the available evidence does not establish retail availability in every country, including the United States. Check the full Lenovo part number when shopping. Lenovo India’s listings use the broader “Lenovo Tab” name, which can be easy to confuse with other tablets:
- ZAEK0063IN: 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, Wi-Fi.
- ZAEK0065IN: 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, Wi-Fi.
- ZAEL0076IN: 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, Wi-Fi and LTE.
- ZAEL0075IN: 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, Wi-Fi and LTE.
These are Indian configurations; part numbers and stock may differ elsewhere. Lenovo’s Wi-Fi listing and LTE listing are examples of the naming and SKU structure.

Price and availability
Lenovo India promotion material listed the 4GB/64GB Wi-Fi version at about ₹14,999, the 4GB/128GB Wi-Fi version at about ₹15,998, and the 4GB/64GB LTE version at about ₹16,999. These are observed promotional listings, not confirmed original launch MSRPs or prices guaranteed to remain available. Check the live listing and exact SKU before buying. Lenovo India’s promotion page is the source for those observed prices.
Pricing is market-specific. Lenovo Japan material, for example, lists separate configurations at ¥30,800 and ¥34,800 before tax; those figures are not a global price and should not be converted into an assumed Indian or US MSRP. Lenovo Japan’s catalog illustrates the regional variation. For readers outside markets where Lenovo lists the tablet, local sale availability and warranty should be confirmed rather than assumed.

Display and design: practical, not high-refresh
The 10.1-inch, 1,920 × 1,200 IPS panel has a 60Hz refresh rate and a manufacturer-rated peak brightness of 400 nits. That resolution is the specific figure to use; calling it “2K” without explanation can mislead, since Lenovo lists 1,920 × 1,200 rather than a 2K-standard resolution. The screen size and 16:10 shape suit video, reading and schoolwork, while the 60Hz rate is a conventional rather than especially fluid panel specification.
At roughly 425g and 7.5mm thick before the camera bump, the tablet is relatively portable for a 10.1-inch model. Lenovo lists a metal case, but the specification alone does not establish how rigid it feels in hand.

Helio G85 performance: everyday tasks first
The Helio G85 pairs two Cortex-A75 performance cores running up to 2.0GHz with six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores up to 1.8GHz, alongside Mali-G52 MC2 graphics. That places the K10 Gen 2 in the budget-tablet class. It is a sensible fit for video streaming, web browsing, video calls, education apps, light productivity and casual games. It is not the right specification to seek for demanding 3D gaming, sustained heavy multitasking or laptop replacement. This is a platform-based expectation, not a claim based on independent benchmark testing.
Memory and storage shape the day-to-day experience too. The commonly listed Indian models have 4GB RAM, which is adequate for ordinary use but leaves less room for many apps running at once. Lenovo’s global specification also lists 8GB on selected configurations, but buyers should confirm that the specific regional SKU actually offers it. RAM is soldered and cannot be upgraded by the owner. Internal storage is eMMC 5.1 rather than faster UFS; microSD expansion can add room for media and documents, but should not be treated as a substitute for faster internal storage.

Wi-Fi or LTE: choose based on where you use it
Wi-Fi model
The Wi-Fi version supports Wi-Fi 5 on 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, Bluetooth 5.3 and microSD expansion. It is the straightforward option for home, school or office use where a trusted Wi-Fi network is available.

Wi-Fi plus 4G LTE model
The cellular model adds a nano-SIM slot and 4G LTE, with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou listed in Lenovo’s specifications. It is not a 5G tablet. LTE band support varies by region, and voice calling should not be assumed: it depends on the model, carrier and local network. Check carrier compatibility and the precise regional model before purchasing for mobile-data use.

Lenovo specifies a 5,100mAh typical battery and up to 15W quick charging; its specification reference lists a 20W adapter in the box. Lenovo estimates up to 9.5 hours of YouTube video streaming, 10.5 hours of Chrome browsing and 1,000 hours on standby. These are Lenovo laboratory estimates, not independent test results. Brightness, LTE use, apps, network conditions and battery age affect real-world endurance.
The 8MP autofocus rear camera and 5MP fixed-focus front camera are suited to basic snapshots, document capture and video calls rather than photography-focused use. Two side-firing speakers receive Dolby Atmos tuning, and the 3.5mm combo jack is useful for wired headphones. USB-C is present for charging and data, but it is USB 2.0 rather than a high-speed data port.

Android and update expectations
The tablet launched with Android 14. Lenovo’s product documentation says to expect Android 15 and Android 16 upgrades; that wording is an expectation, not confirmation that every regional model has already received both releases. Lenovo’s support matrix lists security maintenance for the Tab K10 Gen 2 through November 30, 2028. Rollout timing and applicable regional policy should be checked against the exact model. Lenovo also describes enterprise services such as zero-touch enrollment, firmware-update management and security-patch extension options; these are organizational deployment services, and licensing or activation fees may apply rather than being standard consumer features.

Do not confuse it with the original Tab K10
The original Lenovo Tab K10 is a different tablet, not another name for this Gen 2. One Indian listing for the older model specifies a 10.3-inch screen and Helio P22T, while the Gen 2 uses a 10.1-inch screen and Helio G85. Check the model and part number before relying on a listing or comparison. Lenovo’s original Tab K10 listing is one example of the older product.
Who should consider the Tab K10 Gen 2?
It may suit
- Budget buyers who mainly stream video, browse, read or use school and family apps.
- People who want a 10.1-inch tablet with wired-headphone support and expandable storage.
- Users who need mobile data and can verify the LTE model’s local band and carrier compatibility.
- Schools and businesses evaluating a basic Android device with Lenovo’s optional deployment services.
Look elsewhere if
- You want a tablet for demanding games, heavy multitasking or creative workloads.
- A high-refresh display, faster UFS storage, 5G or a fingerprint reader is essential.
- You need confirmed local availability, service or warranty and Lenovo does not list the tablet in your market.
How to compare it with alternatives
The Redmi Pad SE, Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 or A9+, and newer Lenovo Tab or Tab M11 models are potential comparison candidates, not direct winners on the facts available here. Their current prices and exact specifications have not been established alongside this model. Compare the same local market and configuration rather than brand names alone:
- Price after discount and the exact RAM/storage SKU.
- Wi-Fi versus cellular support, including LTE bands and carrier compatibility.
- Display size, refresh rate and brightness.
- Internal storage technology and microSD support.
- Software-update policy, warranty and local service.
- Speaker arrangement, headphone support, accessories and any stylus requirement.
Lenovo’s datasheet identifies optional clear, folio and rugged cases, plus a Bluetooth folio keyboard. Confirm compatibility by exact model before ordering. The keyboard can help with light typing, but does not change the tablet’s entry-level performance into a laptop-class experience.
