A healthy battery can cover a full day for heavy users and around two days for light-to-moderate use. Its 67W charging is a major convenience, while prolonged GPS navigation, demanding games, bright outdoor use and an aging battery can shorten runtime considerably.
Battery specifications and test context
The global Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is specified with a typical 5000mAh battery, a 67W wired charger, a 6.67-inch 1080 × 2400 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a Snapdragon 695 5G processor. Xiaomi lists the 67W charger as included in the global package. Specifications, network bands, memory, NFC availability and package contents can vary by region, so a model sold under the same name elsewhere may differ. The figures below come from different laboratory protocols and describe review samples when new or near-new. They are useful for comparing specific workloads, not as a promise of identical everyday screen time.

What the results mean in everyday use
Light and moderate use
DXOMARK measured 89 hours in its light-use model and 62 hours in its moderate-use model. Those totals include days with only 2 hours 30 minutes or four hours of active use, respectively; they are elapsed autonomy estimates, not continuous screen-on time. They support roughly two days for light-to-moderate users with a healthy battery, but do not guarantee two days for someone who spends many hours on the screen.
Video and browsing
The 17-hour-10-minute video result is strong for extended playback under a controlled test. The 13-hour-8-minute Wi-Fi browsing result is solid, but it is a different workload and should not be treated as a general screen-time figure. Brightness, apps, network conditions and use between sessions all change real-world results.

Heavy use and gaming
DXOMARK’s intense-use model reached 38 hours with seven active hours per day. Notebookcheck’s 6-hour-55-minute maximum-load result indicates how a sustained heavy workload behaves in that lab; it is not a prediction of gaming time. Games vary in graphics load, frame-rate limits, brightness, connectivity and heat, so a specific game can drain the battery faster or slower than that test suggests. The Snapdragon 695 is a mid-range platform, making gaming a performance-and-endurance compromise rather than a reason to expect flagship-level sustained play.
How fast does the 67W charger work?
Xiaomi advertises a 50% charge in 15 minutes and a full charge in 42 minutes under its stated conditions. Independent tests took longer: Notebookcheck recorded 51 minutes, while DXOMARK reached 80% in 38 minutes and a full charge in 58 minutes 58 seconds; DXOMARK measured 63% after 30 minutes. These are protocol-specific results, not one universally repeatable time. Charge duration can vary with starting charge, temperature, firmware, charger and cable, screen activity, and how each test defines a full battery. The five-minute boost figure is also an estimate of autonomy gained in DXOMARK’s testing, not a guaranteed number of hours for every user.

What changes battery life most?
120Hz refresh rate and brightness
Notebookcheck’s endurance results were measured at 120Hz. It noted that choosing 60Hz should add some runtime, but did not quantify the difference, so no percentage gain can be stated. Use 120Hz for smoother scrolling and animations; choose 60Hz when endurance matters more. High brightness—especially outdoors—can also increase consumption.
5G and cellular reception
There is no universal percentage penalty for 5G in the available tests. Consumption depends on coverage, signal strength, carrier configuration and whether the phone is switching between network types. A controlled Wi-Fi browsing result cannot predict continuous 5G downloads or use in a weak-signal area. If reception is poor or 5G service is inconsistent, cellular use may consume more power than browsing on reliable Wi-Fi; use 4G instead if your software and carrier settings allow it.

GPS navigation
DXOMARK found high discharge current during GPS use, making navigation a notable weak spot compared with less demanding activities. Long trips with the screen on and mobile data active can turn an otherwise comfortable day into a day that needs a top-up. This matters particularly for delivery work, rideshare driving, hiking and travel.

Published endurance tests describe new or near-new review devices, not a typical handset that has been in use since around 2022. Charge-cycle wear, heat exposure and time spent at a full charge can reduce a lithium-ion battery’s usable capacity. The 5000mAh specification is the battery’s typical rated capacity, not a measurement of how much a particular used phone can still hold. On a secondhand Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, the battery’s current condition may matter more than the original lab result.

Practical ways to stretch a charge
- Switch to 60Hz when you do not need the smoother 120Hz display.
- Lower brightness or use automatic brightness, particularly outdoors.
- Prefer Wi-Fi for long browsing or video sessions when reliable Wi-Fi is available.
- Consider 4G in areas where 5G reception is weak or unstable, if your phone and carrier expose that option.
- Limit always-on location access for apps that do not need it, and review which apps use location in the background.

- Use Battery Saver for longer days; Ultra Battery Saver is a more restrictive option for when core connectivity matters more than access to all apps.
- Avoid trapping the phone in heat while charging. Heat is a battery-longevity concern independent of the convenience of fast charging.
- For a quick top-up, use the included charger if you have it, or a compatible USB-C charger.
