The Samsung Galaxy F34 5G is a genuine India-market phone launched in August 2023. Its 120Hz Super AMOLED display, 6000mAh battery, optical image stabilization (OIS) and Samsung software support remain appealing, but the Exynos 1280 platform and 25W charging are dated in 2026. Buy it only when the price is substantially below newer alternatives and the seller can prove local warranty and device condition.

Price and availability in 2026
The original India prices were ₹16,999 for 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and ₹18,999 for 8GB with 128GB. Those figures describe the August 2023 launch, not what every buyer should pay now.
Price data updated July 18, 2026 showed listings beginning around ₹24,499 for the 6GB model and roughly ₹24,999–₹25,999 for 8GB versions. The figures come from later marketplace listings and vary by seller and colour; some Orchid Violet listings were out of stock. See the dated listing information at Gadgets 360.

Display, design and everyday handling
The 6.46-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate are the F34’s strongest hardware combination. Scrolling, reading and video look smoother than on a 60Hz LCD, while AMOLED provides deep blacks and high contrast. Samsung claims peak brightness of up to 1000 nits with Vision Booster under stated conditions; peak brightness is not the same as sustained full-screen brightness.
The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. At 208g and 8.8mm thick, the phone is a large, substantial device rather than a compact model. Samsung’s 16.42cm measurement refers to the full rectangle; rounded corners and the camera cutout reduce the visible area. No IP water-resistance rating is established by the cited specifications, so do not treat the phone as waterproof.

Performance and gaming
The Exynos 1280 is a 5nm midrange chip from the phone’s launch period. It should handle calls, messaging, navigation, streaming, social apps and ordinary multitasking comfortably. Casual games and many mainstream titles are reasonable at sensible graphics settings.

By 2026, however, newer Snapdragon and MediaTek platforms offer a stronger performance-per-rupee proposition. The F34 is not the obvious choice for demanding games, sustained high frame rates or heavy emulation. Exact frame-rate and thermal claims should not be inferred without testing the specific phone, firmware and game settings; no standardized current F34 benchmark is established here.
Cameras: useful OIS, modest secondary sensors
- 50MP main camera with OIS: the most significant camera feature. Optical stabilization can reduce hand movement in stills and handheld video, but it cannot freeze moving people, pets or vehicles.
- 8MP ultrawide: a 120-degree view is useful for landscapes and groups, but it has lower resolution than the main camera and should be judged separately.
- 2MP macro: a supplemental close-up camera, not a substitute for a telephoto lens.
- 13MP front camera: intended for selfies and video calls.
Samsung promotes Nightography, Single Take, Fun Mode and 4K recording. “No Shake Camera” is Samsung’s marketing description for OIS, not a promise of blur-free results in every scene. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality, and no current standardized F34 camera test is available in the cited material. Feature details are listed on the official product page.

Battery life and 25W charging
The battery is rated at 6000mAh typical capacity; Samsung’s catalogue identifies 5830mAh as the rated minimum capacity. Samsung advertises up to two days of use, but that is a controlled internal estimate. Brightness, 120Hz use, weak signal, GPS, gaming, apps and battery age can materially change endurance. The capacity specification and qualification appear in Samsung’s product catalogue.
Charging is limited to 25W, which is modest beside newer phones offering 45W, 67W or more. A large battery lasts well, but it also takes longer to refill. Confirm the exact retail package before purchase: the cited sources do not establish one universal 2026 box configuration or guarantee that a 25W adapter is included.

The F34 launched with Android 13 and One UI 5.1. Samsung advertised up to four generations of Android/One UI upgrades and five years of security updates. “Up to” describes a support plan, not simultaneous delivery to every region, and Samsung says timing and content can change.

Because the phone launched in August 2023, a 2026 buyer is already partway through that window. The relevant question is how much support remains when you buy, not the original total promise. Check Samsung’s current support notices for the exact SM-E346B/DS variant before committing, and do not assume a particular final Android version unless Samsung confirms it.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Storage, SIM and connectivity
There is 128GB of internal storage, less usable after Android, One UI and preinstalled files. Samsung advertises microSD expansion up to 1TB, useful for photos, video, music and documents; external storage is not a complete replacement for fast internal space and not every app can be moved. Verify the tray arrangement on the exact unit because regional layouts can differ.
The India model lists 11 5G bands, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C. A 5G label does not guarantee service: compatible bands, carrier certification, plan, coverage and geography all matter.

Galaxy F34 5G versus Galaxy M34 5G
The F34 and M34 are close relatives rather than radically different phones. A comparison listing records the F34 launch on August 7, 2023 and the M34 on July 7, 2023, with both built around a 6000mAh battery and similar midrange platform. Compare the exact variants using Gadgets 360’s comparison.
| Decision point | What to check |
|---|---|
| Core hardware | Both use the Exynos 1280 family, 120Hz AMOLED-class display, 50MP OIS main camera and 6000mAh battery. |
| Real-world difference | Do not expect a major speed upgrade from the F34; firmware and camera processing may differ. |
| Value | Choose the one that is cheaper, newer, locally warranted and in better condition. |
| Availability | Compare current stock, seller reputation, bundle contents and return terms rather than launch prices. |
Is the Galaxy F34 worth buying in 2026?
It makes sense when
- You find a substantial discount against newer phones.
- You specifically want Samsung’s One UI, Knox, Samsung Wallet and local service network.
- A 120Hz AMOLED display, large battery, OIS and microSD matter more than peak gaming speed.
- You are buying in India with a verifiable local warranty.
Skip it when
- The price approaches ₹24,499–₹25,999 without unusually strong warranty or condition.
- You need demanding-game performance, very fast charging, eSIM, IP water resistance or a lightweight phone.
- The seller cannot identify whether the device is new, refurbished or old stock.
- You need support for longer than the remaining update window.
At a high marketplace price, a newer Samsung F- or A-series model is generally the safer long-term purchase because it should offer a newer chipset and more remaining support. A newer performance-oriented Android phone may be better for gaming and charging speed, while sacrificing Samsung-specific software features. Current alternative prices are not established here, so compare them directly before buying.
Important checks for imported and US buyers
The F34 is primarily an India-market model. An imported unit may lack the LTE or 5G bands, VoLTE, Wi-Fi calling, regional firmware, Samsung Wallet functions or warranty support required in another country. In the United States, confirm compatibility with your exact carrier and model number SM-E346B/DS before purchase, and use a seller offering a meaningful return period.
Quick Recap
What to verify before checkout
- Confirm the model number, RAM/storage configuration and region.
- Check manufacturing date, seal condition, warranty activation and battery/return terms.
- Verify that the seller’s box contents include the charger you need; 25W support does not prove an adapter is bundled.
- Check carrier bands, VoLTE and 5G compatibility for your location.
- Compare the total price with newer phones and the Galaxy M34, not with the 2023 launch price.
