The current general SAC contacts are 4003-8210 for capitals and metropolitan regions by landline or mobile (and other locations by mobile), and 0800-881-8210 for landline calls from other locations. Separate lines serve commercial customers, contract support, hearing-accessibility service and the ombudsman.
Use the current directory on Correios’ official SAC page before calling. The page was current as of August 18, 2026.
What changed at Correios?
Correios moved its main customer-support operation to a new 4003-82xx and 0800-881-82xx number set beginning July 14, 2025. Earlier documents and cached pages may still show numbers such as 3003-0100, 0800-725-7282, 0800-725-0100 or 0800-725-0898. Those are former contacts; Correios’ current online directory is the appropriate source for the active routes, rather than assuming every old number has been universally disconnected.
Agência Brasil described the change as part of a support modernization involving the virtual assistant Carol, WhatsApp and a contracted service operation. Its report also connected the update to an Anatel-related requirement, but the specific regulatory order for these exact Correios numbers is not identified in the available material. Which number should you use?
Tracking a parcel or filing a standard complaint
Start with Correios’ online tracking tools when possible. For help, clarification, a suggestion or a complaint, use 4003-8210 from a mobile phone or from a landline in a capital or metropolitan region. If you are outside those areas and calling from a landline, use 0800-881-8210.
Business contracts and commercial systems
Use 4003-8212 for commercial service and contract information. Existing contract customers needing billing, charges or system assistance should use 4003-8208, or 0800-881-8208 from a landline outside capitals and metropolitan regions.

Accessibility and escalation
People with hearing disabilities should use 0800-881-8211. The ombudsman at 0800-881-8209 is an escalation channel, not normally the first contact. Keep the protocol from first-level service and use the ombudsman when that service did not resolve the case.

Telephone hours, digital service and Carol
General SAC human-service hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., excluding holidays. The ombudsman’s published schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., excluding holidays.
Automated assistance remains available through Correios’ website, chat and WhatsApp. Carol, Correios’ virtual assistant, may handle the first interaction, so a caller should not assume every request immediately reaches a human operator. Official WhatsApp
Save +55 11 4003-8210 (commonly shown in Brazil as (11) 4003-8210) and send “Oi”. The official channel supports parcel tracking, freight and delivery-time estimates, agency locations, quick guidance, contract-customer support and business solutions. It is a digital service and may be automated.
Does the change affect parcel tracking?
The change affects the channel used to request assistance, not the existence of Correios’ tracking service. Check the official website or app first, then contact the SAC if the status needs clarification or you need to open a complaint. Calling is not the only, or necessarily the fastest, way to see a tracking event.

- Open the current Correios SAC directory directly.
- Match the number to your call type and whether you are using a mobile or landline.
- If the call does not connect, try the other applicable line, then use official WhatsApp, website chat or the online “Fale Conosco” form.
- Save the service protocol for any later escalation.

How to avoid fake Correios support numbers
- Use numbers copied from the official correios.com.br directory, not from unsolicited texts, emails, social-media posts or delivery messages.
- Do not give passwords, card details or payment information to an unverified caller.
- Check tracking and import-payment requests through the official Correios website or app.
- Be suspicious of urgent fee requests or messages sending you to a different “central”.
- Verify a suspicious 0800 number through official telecom-verification guidance before calling.
Correios warns that scams can use its name, logo, parcel details, fake profiles, videos and artificial intelligence. See its fake parcel-message warning. Anatel also publishes guidance on fake customer-service centers and 0800 fraud at gov.br/anatel.
Calling from outside Brazil
The published numbers are designed primarily for callers within Brazil. The available Correios information does not establish international dialing support or foreign-carrier access. If you are abroad, start with Correios’ website, chat or written contact form rather than assuming a Brazilian 4003 or 0800 number will connect.
