Amazon’s January 2025 Prime Gaming lineup included 16 downloadable PC games, released in five weekly batches from January 2 through January 30. They were claimed through the Epic Games Store, GOG, or Amazon Games App. The offer has expired; this is a historical roundup, not a list of games you can claim now.
Amazon published its January content update on January 9, after the first two games had already become available. The complete schedule and platform assignments are in the table below. Amazon’s January 9 announcement is preserved in its press-release archive.

The platform split was eight Epic Games Store claims, five GOG codes, and two Amazon Games App titles. These were PC offers; the published lineup did not identify console versions. A corroborating schedule is available from DonanımHaber.
Which January games were the strongest picks?
There is no single objective winner: the most appealing claim depended on whether you wanted a long single-player game, co-op, racing, or a puzzle-focused diversion. The month leaned toward established or independent titles rather than new blockbuster releases.

- For systemic stealth and choice: Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition remains the distinctive classic pick, though its older presentation and controls may feel dated.
- For turn-based card combat: SteamWorld Quest is the approachable deck-building option.
- For co-op shooting: Zombie Army 4: Dead War is the clearest fit, particularly if friends can join on the relevant platform.
- For racing: GRIP offers arcade combat racing rather than a realistic driving simulation.
- For puzzles or management instead of combat: Star Stuff emphasizes automation puzzles; To the Rescue! focuses on running a dog shelter.
January’s additional Amazon Luna games
Amazon also listed games playable through Luna, a separate cloud-streaming benefit. These should not be counted as downloadable PC claims or permanent licenses: streaming access followed Luna’s rotating-access model. The January announcement named Guacamelee! 2 Complete, Metro Exodus, Super Meat Boy, Airhead, The Magical Mixture Mill, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, and Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition. It also listed Fortnite, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, Fortnite Festival, Fortnite Battle Royale, and Trackmania.
The announcement specified Luna access for Prime members in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, and Poland. It did not establish access for every country where Prime is available. For Luna, the practical trade-off is that supported cloud games do not require a PC download, but streaming depends on regional availability, a compatible device, and a usable internet connection. How claiming worked
During the offer period, Prime members claimed each game from Amazon’s gaming benefits page and followed the redemption option shown for that title. The January schedule used multiple storefronts, so a Prime membership alone did not mean every game appeared in one unified PC library.
- Sign in to the Amazon account with Prime and open the gaming benefits page.
- Select a title marked available and choose its displayed redemption option.
- For an Epic Games Store title, use or link an Epic account and complete the Epic redemption flow.
- For a GOG title, redeem the supplied code through a GOG account.
- For Spirit Mancer or Spitlings, add the game through the Amazon Games App and use that launcher to access it.
- For a Luna title, open its Luna page in a supported region and stream it on a compatible device.
In January 2025, the games were included at no additional charge for Prime members during limited claim windows. Redemption required the relevant storefront or Amazon account, and the resulting license and access conditions depended on that platform. A streamed Luna game was not equivalent to a claimed downloadable copy. Amazon’s current gaming entry point is Amazon Games; its present interface and terminology may differ from the older Prime Gaming pages.

Can you still claim the January 2025 games?
No. The January 2025 claim windows have passed, so signing up for Prime now does not reopen that month’s offers. Amazon’s gaming benefits have since been presented through the Luna ecosystem, with cloud streaming and rotating downloadable PC games described separately.
