Possibly the last floor-cleaning system you need for everyday upkeep—but not a universal replacement for a conventional vacuum. The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete combines a robot vacuum and mop, an automated OMNI station, and a handheld vacuum system that can serve above-floor tasks when the right stick attachment is included. Its strongest case is a mostly hard-floor home that values scheduled cleaning and can buy a verified Complete bundle at a substantial discount. Deep carpet cleaning, stairs, ongoing maintenance, software dependence, and uncertain long-term availability keep the “last vacuum you’ll ever buy” promise from being literal.
What does “X2 Combo Complete” include?
The naming matters because these are not interchangeable packages. The X2 OMNI is the robot vacuum/mop with its OMNI station. The X2 COMBO adds a handheld vacuum system. “Complete” refers to a higher-content package associated with a stick attachment, extending that handheld for floor and above-floor cleaning. ECOVACS announced the X2 Combo in January 2024 as a robot-and-handheld system; it is not a new 2026 launch (ECOVACS’s CES announcement).
The current U.S. X2 Combo product page names the robot, station, and handheld, but does not independently establish every retailer’s “Complete” bundle. It lists the mini power brush, flat brush, and crevice tool, along with the robot, OMNI station, two mop-pad plates and pads, side brush, rubber main brushes, filter, four dust bags, power cord, and manuals. The page says the extension hose and Zero Tangle Power Brush are sold separately.
Before buying, check the seller’s itemized contents and product photos for the actual wand or stick-floor attachment, its powered head if one is promised, and the tools you need. Do not infer that every X2 Combo listing is the Complete configuration, or that every optional handheld accessory is included.

Which cleaning jobs can it replace?
Think of the X2 Combo Complete as a coordinated set of tools, not one machine that performs every vacuuming task equally well. The robot handles routine floors; the handheld covers targeted cleaning; and the station cuts down on daily intervention.

ECOVACS lists maximum robot suction of up to 8,700 Pa, a 6,400 mAh battery, and up to 210 minutes of runtime. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements; maximum runtime depends on mode and surface, and suction pressure alone does not show how well a machine deep-cleans carpet. The robot measures 353 × 313 × 95 mm (about 13.9 × 12.3 × 3.7 inches); its station is 554 × 443 × 527.5 mm (about 21.8 × 17.4 × 20.8 inches). Check the available floor space, including room for the robot to approach and leave the dock. Details appear on the official product page.
The station is the main convenience—and a maintenance commitment
The OMNI station is what makes the system feel unusually complete. It can auto-empty the robot and the handheld, wash the robot’s rotating mop pads with warm water, dry them with hot air, refill the robot’s water supply, and charge both devices. The station holds a 3 L dust bag, 4 L clean-water tank, and 3.5 L dirty-water tank. ECOVACS states mopping coverage of up to 400 square meters, but actual service intervals vary with floor area, water use, cleaning settings, and how often the robot washes its pads.

“Hands-free” means fewer daily chores, not no chores. Expect to:
- Replace dust bags and refill clean water.
- Empty dirty water and clean the station’s wash area.
- Remove hair and debris from brushes, wheels, and sensors.
- Clean or replace filters, mop pads, and side brushes as needed.
- Reseat the robot or handheld and troubleshoot if docking, auto-emptying, or mop washing fails.
ECOVACS’s support center maintains guidance on tasks such as dust-bin cleaning, brush removal, water-tank care, scheduling, and handheld auto-collection. That support is useful, but the need for those procedures is part of ownership.
Navigation and app control: capable, with the usual robot-vacuum edge cases
ECOVACS specifies semi-solid-state LiDAR navigation and RGB-D obstacle avoidance, along with TrueMapping 3.0 and 3D-mapping features. The square body is designed to improve edge access. ECOVACS also claims up to 99.77% cleaning coverage per unit area; treat that as the company’s metric, not an independent test result. The app provides maps, schedules, and cleaning preferences, and the robot supports YIKO 2.0 voice control. Voice-assistant availability and functions can vary by region.

Obstacle sensing and mapping do not make a robot immune to household clutter. Cords, socks, toys, rug tassels, pet bowls, dark or reflective surfaces, low-clearance furniture, dim rooms, and room thresholds can still create trouble. Multi-floor homes may require carrying the robot and managing separate maps; a shifted station or a lost or misaligned map can mean docking problems or remapping. Keep vulnerable objects out of its route and inspect the first runs in each room.
Setup depends on the ECOVACS HOME app and Wi-Fi. ECOVACS says the X2 does not support a hidden Wi-Fi network name during setup; the network name must be visible. Check the X2 app-connection instructions if your router uses a hidden SSID. Maps, schedules, and many preferences are tied to the app, so this is a poor match for someone who wants a fully offline, appliance-style vacuum. RGB-D sensing also raises a reasonable privacy question: review ECOVACS’s current privacy terms and app permissions before enabling connected features. The feature descriptions alone do not establish how data is handled.

The X2 uses dual rotating pads under ECOVACS’s OZMO Turbo 2.0 system. It offers vacuum-only, mopping, vacuum-and-mop, and mop-after-vacuum modes. The product page specifies warm-water pad washing (60°C), hot-air drying, and a 15 mm mop lift when carpet is detected. These features make frequent light maintenance more convenient than dragging out a mop, but they do not make the robot a substitute for manual scrubbing or grout care.

A 15 mm lift does not guarantee every rug stays dry, and carpet or flooring recognition can be imperfect. Set no-mop zones around delicate rugs or flooring, use room-specific settings, or remove vulnerable rugs when necessary. Check that ECOVACS’s recommended cleaning solution is compatible with your intended use; avoid assuming any household cleaner is safe for the machine or floor. The mop pads and station still need cleaning and eventual replacement.
Pets: helpful automation, not accident-proof cleaning
Scheduling, the handheld tools, auto-emptying, a rubber main brush, and ECOVACS’s pet-oriented AI features can help with everyday hair and debris. The company’s pet-friendly positioning is a feature claim, not proof that the robot will safely identify every toy, feeding setup, or pet accident. A robot can spread a mess if it runs over vomit or waste. Keep cords, toys, litter, and feeding areas clear, and do not leave it to clean unsupervised around a newly sick, incontinent, or destructive pet.

The robot itself has no established current U.S. price in the official material cited here. ECOVACS’s U.S. X2 OMNI page currently marks that model sold out, while the X2 Combo feature page and compatible consumables remain listed. The X2 Combo was announced in January 2024, so buyers in 2026 should treat it as an older platform and verify stock, warranty terms, return policy, and parts access before committing. Sold-out status for the X2 OMNI does not prove the Combo is unavailable everywhere, but neither does a live feature page guarantee new stock or indefinite support.

At the time prices were displayed on ECOVACS’s U.S. pages, three compatible antibacterial dust bags were $24.99, an X2 Combo/T30S Combo hand-stick filter was $19.99, one liter of cleaning solution was $24.99, and two one-liter bottles were $49.98. These are volatile observed prices, not guaranteed current prices. Check the official accessories catalog for current stock and compatibility. ECOVACS also maintains an X2 OMNI support page and lists the newer T30S Combo Complete in its support catalog, but ongoing support pages are not a promise of parts availability for a particular period.
Budget beyond the initial bundle for bags, filters, mop pads, brushes, and cleaning solution. Battery replacement or out-of-warranty repair may also become relevant, but ECOVACS’s cited product information does not establish a consumer-facing battery lifespan or replacement cost. There is no reliable basis here for assigning the X2 a failure rate. If a seller offers it at a premium, the large dock, recurring consumables, older-platform risk, and warranty matter as much as the features.
Reasons to pass—or choose separate appliances
- You have mostly thick or high-pile carpet. The X2’s robot suction number does not establish the deep-cleaning performance of a strong upright or canister vacuum.
- You need frequent stair cleaning. The robot stays on one floor, and the handheld’s usefulness depends on the bundle, tools, and runtime.
- You want simple, offline operation. Maps, schedules, and many controls rely on the app and Wi-Fi, while obstacle avoidance uses RGB-D sensing.
- You expect zero maintenance. Water tanks, the wash area, filters, pads, brushes, and dock behavior all require attention.
- You cannot fit the station or protect delicate rugs. The dock is substantial, and carpet detection does not guarantee that every textile remains dry.
- You cannot confirm the Complete attachment or parts supply. Bundle ambiguity and the age of the platform make a clear seller listing and easy return policy especially important.
A newer robot vacuum/mop plus a separate cordless stick vacuum can be easier to replace in pieces and may offer better manual-cleaning flexibility, though it gives up the X2’s combined station and single-system convenience. For carpet-heavy homes, a conventional upright or canister plus a basic robot is often the more sensible division of labor. If you already own a good handheld or stick vacuum, a robot-only model avoids paying for duplicate hardware.
Who should buy the X2 Combo Complete?
Buy if
Your home is mostly hard flooring, you want daily autonomous cleaning and occasional above-floor pickup, you have confirmed the actual Complete bundle, and the price is low enough to compensate for an older platform. You should also be comfortable with app setup, regular station care, and checking that compatible consumables remain available.
Consider if
You have mixed flooring, pets, or some stairs, but can supervise the robot around rugs and clutter and are willing to maintain the dock. Make sure a separate manual vacuum still covers any deep-carpet or stair work the X2 cannot handle.
Skip if
You mainly need deep carpet cleaning, have many stairs, want a lightweight full-size stick vacuum as your primary cleaner, or value easy repairs and long-term product availability more than automation. A discounted price is not a bargain if the bundle or replacement parts are uncertain.
