Current status: You cannot pre-order the Google Pixel Watch 3 in 2026. Google opened pre-orders in August 2024, and retail sales began on September 10, 2024. The watch is now sold through a normal purchase flow, while the newer Pixel Watch 4 is the current-generation alternative.
Can you still pre-order the Pixel Watch 3?
No. The Pixel Watch 3’s pre-order window ended in 2024. Google’s launch announcement opened pre-orders in August 2024 and listed September 10, 2024 as the general-availability date. The current Google Store configuration page uses ordinary purchase language instead of a pre-order button.
A page that still says “pre-order” is probably outdated, cached, limited to a particular retailer, or describing a retailer’s own reservation system. Do not expect a 2024 launch promotion, launch-day delivery, or a pre-order confirmation for an order placed now.
How the original 2024 pre-order worked
During the launch period, customers could order through the Google Store, Fitbit.com, and selected retailers and carriers. Sellers did not necessarily offer the same colors, sizes, delivery estimates, trade-in values, financing, or promotions.

- Open the seller’s official Pixel Watch 3 listing.
- Select 41mm or 45mm.
- Choose the case and band finish.
- Choose Bluetooth/Wi-Fi or 4G LTE plus Bluetooth/Wi-Fi.
- Review the estimated delivery date.
- Enter the shipping address and payment method.
- Read the trade-in, financing, and promotion terms.
- Place the order and save the confirmation number and email.
- Monitor the seller’s order page for shipment or delivery changes.
How to buy a Pixel Watch 3 now
Use the live Google Store listing or an authorized seller and complete the normal checkout process:
- Open Google’s Pixel Watch 3 configuration page.
- Select the case size.
- Select the color and band combination available for that size.
- Choose Bluetooth/Wi-Fi or 4G LTE.
- Enter your destination ZIP code to see the current delivery estimate.
- Review any trade-in estimate, protection plan, financing offer, and return terms.
- Confirm the exact configuration and final price in your cart, then check out.
“From” pricing can represent only one size and connectivity combination. Select every option before comparing prices. Stock, delivery estimates, promotions, and protection-plan pricing can change by region and date.
Pixel Watch 3 prices: launch MSRP versus today’s price
The following are the official US launch prices announced in 2024, not a promise of the current selling price:

Google’s current store may show a sale or a lower “from” price. Treat any discount as temporary unless the page states otherwise, and verify which size and connectivity option qualifies.

Choosing 41mm or 45mm
41mm
- More compact for many smaller wrists.
- Google lists compatibility with wrists approximately 130–210mm around.
- Smaller display and battery than the 45mm model.
45mm
- Larger display and larger battery.
- Google lists compatibility with wrists approximately 150–215mm around.
- Usually costs more at the same connectivity level.
The ranges overlap, so measure your wrist but also consider display readability, case proportions, comfort, and battery preference. Check band compatibility before buying additional straps; do not assume every 41mm and 45mm accessory is interchangeable.
Bluetooth/Wi-Fi or LTE?
Bluetooth/Wi-Fi
Choose this version if your phone is normally nearby. Calls, texts, notifications, and many connected functions rely on the paired phone or a suitable Wi-Fi connection. It avoids cellular activation and recurring watch-line charges.
4G LTE
Choose LTE if you want to leave your phone behind for calls, texts, apps, music streaming, and emergency functions. LTE hardware does not include cellular service automatically: you need a compatible carrier and activation, and carrier fees and restrictions apply.
For full talk, text, and data functionality, Google says the watch and companion Android phone must use the same carrier network. Supported US examples include AT&T, Cellcom, CSpire, Google Fi, T-Mobile, UScellular, and Verizon, but availability depends on country, plan, and eligibility. Check Google’s carrier-support guidance before ordering.

Colors and bands
Google’s launch combinations included:
- 41mm: Matte Obsidian with Matte Black, Polished Silver with Porcelain, Champagne Gold with Hazel, and Polished Silver with Rose Quartz.
- 45mm: Obsidian, Porcelain, and Matte Hazel combinations.
Exact availability varies by region, seller, size, and connectivity. A color listed in launch coverage may no longer be available in every configuration.
Compatibility checklist
Before ordering, confirm all of the following:
- Your phone runs Android 10.0 or newer.
- You have a Google Account and internet access.
- The Google Pixel Watch app is available for your phone.
- You understand that Pixel Watch models are not compatible with iPhones.
- Your carrier supports Pixel Watch LTE if you are buying the cellular model.
- You know whether health or coaching features require a Fitbit account or subscription.
- You have checked the seller’s return window, warranty, trade-in inspection rules, and financing total.

What to do when the watch arrives
- Charge the watch and your phone.
- Turn on Bluetooth and location, and grant nearby-device permissions.
- Install or update the Google Pixel Watch app.
- Hold the watch crown for about three seconds to turn it on.
- Place the watch near the Android phone and accept the pairing prompt, or open the Pixel Watch app manually.
- Confirm that the pairing code matches on both screens.
- Sign in to your Google Account and accept the terms.
- Select the country where the device was purchased.
- Optionally restore a backup.
- Set wrist and crown orientation.
- Choose whether to configure Fitbit, LTE, safety features, screen lock, Wallet, Gemini, and apps.
- Allow the watch to install updates.
Troubleshooting pairing and LTE
If pairing fails
- Hold the crown for three seconds and choose Restart.
- Verify Bluetooth, location, internet, and nearby-device permissions on the phone.
- Update the phone, Pixel Watch app, and watch.
- In the Pixel Watch app, use System → Reset and unpair watch if needed.
- Forget the watch in Android’s connected-device settings, restart the phone, and try again.
- Factory-reset only as a last resort because it erases watch data.

If LTE will not activate
- Confirm that you bought an LTE model.
- Confirm that the carrier supports Pixel Watch 3 in your country and on your plan.
- Check that the phone and watch use a compatible carrier arrangement.
- Enable Bluetooth, location, nearby-device permissions, and internet access.
- Check the watch at Settings → Connectivity → Mobile → SIM status.
- In the Pixel Watch app, open Connectivity → Mobile network and follow the carrier setup flow.
- Remove any stale eSIM profile and update the watch if necessary.
If an order is delayed or canceled
Use the seller’s order page for the latest status, preserve the confirmation and promotion terms, and contact the seller before canceling if a trade-in or bill credit is attached. A delayed order does not automatically preserve a promotion unless the written terms say it does.

Google Store or carrier?
Google Store
The Google Store provides direct manufacturer purchasing, configuration choices, trade-in estimates, and any protection or financing options currently offered. LTE activation remains a separate carrier step, and stock and pricing can change.
Carrier
A carrier may offer discounts or bill credits and may handle LTE activation during checkout. Read the full terms: “free” offers commonly require a qualifying plan, a new line, installment payments, continued service, or a minimum period. Canceling or paying off early can stop future credits.
Should you buy the Pixel Watch 3 now?
The Pixel Watch 3 can make sense at a substantial discount, especially if you want Google and Fitbit integration and do not need the newest hardware. Consider the Pixel Watch 4 if its price is close: Google announced it on August 20, 2025, with retail availability beginning October 9, 2025. The newer model is the more logical choice when the price gap is small.
Choose Bluetooth/Wi-Fi if your phone is usually nearby. Choose LTE only when your carrier supports it and you will genuinely use phone-free connectivity. Compare the exact configured price, cellular costs, return terms, and any subscription requirements rather than relying on launch-era headlines.
