Was it really the Razr+ (2024)?
The report does not identify the phone consistently. Its headline calls it the Razr+ (2024), but its body refers to the Razr+ (2023). The specifications it lists—Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 4-inch cover display, and a 165Hz inner display—are presented in the report alongside that 2023 reference. That mismatch means the article alone cannot confirm which Razr+ generation, if any, was attached to the $424.99 offer.

The report’s Amazon purchase link currently opens a page titled “Motorola razr | 2024 | Unlocked,” identifying the standard Razr rather than a Razr+. Its product summary lists 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor, a 6.9-inch main display, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The page currently says “No featured offers available.” These are details of the destination as it appears now, not proof of what Amazon sold through that link in December 2024. The report also said the phone was receiving Android 14. That is a statement about the phone at the time of the December 2024 article, not a current software-version or support-status check.
Why roughly $425 would have been appealing
If the offer had been for a Razr+ matching the report’s description, the price would have put a premium-style flip foldable within reach at a substantial discount from its stated regular price. The large external display and ability to use many Android apps without unfolding the phone are practical differences from a smaller, more limited cover screen. The reported 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage would also have made for a capable configuration.

What to check before buying a similar Razr deal
- Confirm the model and generation. Look for “Razr+” in the product title and verify the generation, rather than relying on a general “Razr” label or a deal headline.
- Match the hardware. Check the processor, RAM, storage, and cover-display details against the specific Razr+ you intend to buy. Do not infer them from another model’s listing.
- Check the seller and condition. Confirm whether the phone is new, renewed, refurbished, or used, and whether the seller is Amazon or a marketplace seller.
