Precision 7875 是什么类型的工作站？
Precision 7875 不是只有一套固定配置的型号，而是可选处理器、显卡、内存、存储和操作系统的塔式平台。Dell 当前美国产品页列出 Threadripper PRO 7000 WX 与 9000 WX 处理器选项，并提供 Windows 11 Pro、Ubuntu 24.04 LTS 和 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6 等系统选项；当地可买到的组合应以实际配置器为准。查看 Dell Precision 7875 Tower Workstation 配置。
平台面向对 CPU 并行能力、专业 GPU、ECC 内存容量或内部扩展有明确需求的用户。Dell 的 7875 规格资料列出最高 2TB DDR5 ECC 内存；其工程指南还提到八通道内存及 PCIe Gen 4.0、Gen 5.0 支持。这些是厂商标示的平台能力，不代表每个配置都包含相同内存、插槽占用或扩展卡，也不是性能测试结果。下单前应核对报价单中的实际配置。
可选处理器、显卡和内存
Dell 旧版 Precision 7875 规格表描述的是 Threadripper PRO 7000 WX 代际，列有从 12 核到 96 核的处理器选项，显卡选项涵盖多款 NVIDIA RTX/A 系列及 AMD Radeon Pro 型号，内存上限为 2TB DDR5 ECC。当前美国配置器又列出 9000 WX 家族，因此旧规格表不能用来完整描述当前可订购菜单。代际、显卡与机箱电源的组合可能影响可选项，购买时应以所在地的当期配置器为准。Dell Precision 7875 规格表；Dell 美国当前配置页面。

高核心数不自动等于更适合。CPU 渲染、仿真和科学计算可能利用大量并行核心；交互式建模、部分绘图操作或只支持有限并行的应用，则可能更看重单核响应或 GPU。显卡数量也要按软件支持情况选择，而不是仅按显存或卡数判断。
StorageReview 实测：一台高配样机的成绩
StorageReview 的 Charles P. Jefferies 于 2024 年 2 月 13 日发表了 Precision 7875 实测评测。测试机在实验室使用数周，配置如下。以下结果只适用于这台样机及评测所用软件版本和测试方法。阅读 StorageReview Precision 7875 评测。

CPU 与综合工作站测试
在 StorageReview 的 SPECworkstation 3 测试中，7875 在 Product Development 类别得分 13.72，HP Z6 G5 A 对照机为 11.91；但在 Life Sciences、Financial Services 和 GPU Compute 类别中，7875 得分低于这台 HP。评测指出两台系统的硬件大体相近，整体表现接近。这个结果说明综合工作站套件里的不同类别并不会给同一台机器相同排名。
在 Cinebench R23 多核测试中，评测机得分为 96,501；同篇评测中的 HP Z6 G5 A 得分 100,562，Dell Precision 7960 得分 58,774。单核成绩依次为 Precision 7875 的 1,761、HP Z6 G5 A 的 1,709、Precision 7960 的 1,689。它们是 StorageReview 2024 年测试中各自特定配置的结果，不能脱离处理器、内存和测试条件当作机型的普遍成绩。
双显卡的收益因应用而异
在 LuxMark GPU 测试中，配有两张 RTX 6000 Ada 的 Precision 7875 明显领先于单张 RTX 6000 Ada 的对照配置；评测者还报告，关闭 SLI 后该项分数没有下降。这个结果支持的是该 GPU 计算基准中的双卡表现，不意味着任意渲染器、AI 工作流或专业应用都能同样扩展。
Blender 4.0 的 Monster、Junkshop 和 Classroom 测试结果大致接近，评测指出该测试没有从 SLI 获益，第二张 GPU 未提高这些分数。SPECviewperf 2020 的结果也随视图集和 SLI 状态变化：开启 SLI 时，部分视图集反而低于同一系统关闭 SLI 时。多卡采购应先确认目标软件版本、渲染器或视图集是否支持多 GPU，再判断第二张卡是否值得投入。

扩展、机箱与适用场景
StorageReview 描述了可拆卸侧板、前置 FlexBay、可选网络卡，以及塔式、侧放或机架安装等使用方式。具体扩展件、可用空间和配置兼容性取决于实际订单，不能仅凭平台支持能力推定某台现货机器已装有相应部件。
从定位和测试结果看，Precision 7875 更适合能明确指出瓶颈的工作环境，例如需要大内存容量的科学计算、可扩展到多核的 CPU 渲染，或确实能使用多张专业 GPU 的计算工作。若工作主要是轻量办公、单线程交互或软件不支持第二张显卡，平台的最高配置能力未必转化成相应收益。

Precision 7875 值得买吗？
是否值得买取决于目标应用、具体配置和总价，而不是产品系列的最高核心数。Dell 美国页面访问时显示的价格为 4,757 美元，但页面价格、促销和默认配置会变化；StorageReview 记录的评测高配机超过 31,000 美元。两者不是同一配置、同一时点或同一价格来源，不能当作同配价格对比。购买前应以当地 Dell 配置器和正式报价为准。
目前可用的独立测试数据主要是 StorageReview 于 2024 年对一台 7995WX、双 RTX 6000 Ada 样机的评测，并非 2026 年全系列、各处理器与显卡组合的标准化横向测试。该评测作者 Charles P. Jefferies 将其评价为适合配置成应对高要求桌面 AI 或创意专业应用的高端工作站之一；这是对其测试系统的判断，不是适用于所有配置的性能保证。评测对测试系统风扇按需提供冷却、噪声不过多的观察，也不能替代其他配置的噪声或长期可靠性数据。
