There is no evidence-backed universal winner between Hisense and TCL in this comparison. The Hisense 75U7N and TCL 75QM7K are specific 75-inch examples, not stand-ins for every model from either brand. Choose by checking the exact model, room and installation fit, features you will use, and the current total price.

Which 75-inch TVs are being compared?

This comparison is between the US-market Hisense 75U7N and TCL 75QM7K. Hisense describes the 75U7N as a Mini-LED ULED 4K Google TV with QLED color. TCL identifies the 75QM7K as a 2025 QD-Mini LED QLED 4K UHD Google TV. Features can vary by model year, size, suffix, and market, so confirm the full model number on the product you are considering.

Both manufacturers’ sources describe features and specifications; they do not provide a matched independent test showing which TV has better picture quality, gaming latency, or motion handling. Treat the feature lists below as a way to narrow the choice, not as proof of a performance winner.

How do the Hisense 75U7N and TCL 75QM7K compare?

Decision factor Hisense 75U7N TCL 75QM7K
Display and platform Mini-LED ULED 4K with QLED color; Google TV, according to Hisense. QD-Mini LED QLED 4K UHD; Google TV. TCL lists this as a 2025 model in its product listing.
Gaming features Hisense advertises 144Hz Game Mode Pro, VRR 48–144Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and ALLM. TCL lists a 144Hz panel refresh rate and Auto Game Mode (ALLM) in its specifications sheet.
HDR formats Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and Advanced HDR by Technicolor, according to Hisense. Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG, according to TCL’s specifications sheet.
HDMI inputs Not stated in the cited Hisense product information. Four, according to TCL’s specifications sheet.
Stand footprint Not stated in the cited Hisense product information; check the exact model’s specification sheet. 65.60 inches wide and 14.50 inches deep with stand, according to TCL’s specifications sheet.
Price snapshot A comparable live price was not established. TCL’s US product page displayed $1,299.99 when accessed for this comparison. This is a volatile listing snapshot, not a guaranteed current price.

A 144Hz specification or a longer HDR-format list does not establish real-world picture quality, input lag, or compatibility in every setup. Check the specific console or PC connections you need and look for independent testing if measured performance is decisive.

Will a 75-inch TV fit your room?

Measure the space and installation route rather than relying on a generic room-size or viewing-distance rule. TCL lists the 75QM7K at 65.60 × 39.20 × 14.50 inches with its stand, and 65.60 × 37.80 × 2.20 inches without the stand. The TV weighs 58.60 pounds with the stand and 54.20 pounds without it, per the TCL specifications sheet.

If the TV will sit on furniture

  • Check the furniture’s usable width and depth against the TV’s dimensions and stand footprint, not just the screen’s advertised diagonal.
  • Allow room for cables, ventilation, and any connected devices, and make sure the stand can sit securely on the furniture.
  • Check the TCL carton dimensions—73.20 × 44.30 × 7.00 inches, with a listed package weight of 80 pounds—against doorways, stairs, and delivery access.

If you plan to wall-mount it

TCL lists a 300 × 300 mm VESA pattern and M6 screws for the 75QM7K. Confirm the mount’s size and weight rating, the wall type and stud locations, and clearance for ports and cables. Do not assume the Hisense uses the same VESA pattern: verify its exact specifications and mounting requirements before buying a mount or arranging installation.

Check the viewing position

Consider where you sit, how high the screen will be, the angle from seats at the sides, and glare from windows or lights. No authoritative viewing-distance figure or room-size threshold is established here. If possible, view a 75-inch screen from your intended seat distance; compare a smaller size if the screen would feel too dominant or your seating is close.

Which one suits gaming, streaming, and everyday viewing?

For gaming

The advertised gaming features differ: Hisense lists VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro as well as ALLM, while TCL’s cited sheet lists 144Hz refresh and ALLM. Check your source device, the HDMI port you will use, and the TV’s detailed compatibility information before buying. These manufacturer specifications do not establish which set has lower input lag or better motion clarity.

For streaming and HDR

Both models use Google TV, so the platform alone may not decide this pair. Their HDR format lists are not identical: Hisense lists Dolby Vision, while TCL lists Dolby Vision IQ; both list HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. Format support indicates compatibility claims, not that one TV delivers brighter or more accurate HDR in practice.

For built-in audio

TCL’s specification sheet lists 60W audio from four speakers. That number does not establish how dialogue or music will sound in your room. A separate soundbar is optional; include one in your budget only if you want a separate audio system.

How should you compare the price and total cost?

The TCL US product page displayed $1,299.99 at access, alongside a struck-through reference price. That listing can change and is not a guaranteed offer or a fair-market-value assessment. No comparable live Hisense price was established, so the available information does not support calling either brand the budget winner.

Before choosing, compare the exact model and suffix at the same time, then add delivery, in-home installation, any mount or audio equipment you actually need, and the retailer’s return and warranty terms. Check stock and the return process for a large-item delivery; a low listed price may not represent the lowest total cost.

How to choose between these two 75-inch TVs

  1. Confirm the model. Match the full model number, year, size, and regional version on the retailer listing to the manufacturer’s information.
  2. Check the fit. Measure the furniture or wall, seat position, and delivery route. Use the exact TV dimensions, stand footprint, weight, and mounting pattern.
  3. Prioritize useful features. Compare the HDR formats and gaming connections against the devices and content you use; do not treat feature counts as performance tests.
  4. Compare current total prices. Include delivery, installation, accessories, return terms, and warranty—not just the headline price.
  5. Use independent measurements for performance. If image quality, motion, or input lag will decide the purchase, seek side-by-side testing of these exact models. The cited manufacturer sources do not establish a winner on those measures.

For official details, check the Hisense 75U7N product page, the TCL QM7K product page, and TCL’s QM7K specifications sheet. TCL notes that specifications may change without notice, so confirm live details before purchasing.
