91mobiles’ October 2026 directory reports 1,105 phones with 5,000mAh batteries and a displayed price range of ₹6,699–₹254,999. Those are directory figures, not an independently audited count of phones currently available in India. The entries below are examples from its “top 5” sample, not battery-life rankings.

What a 5,000mAh battery figure tells you
Capacity is a useful first filter, but it does not establish how long a phone will last between charges. A phone with a 5,000mAh battery can run for less time than another phone with a smaller battery if its display, processor, signal conditions, apps or usage consume more power. The listings above do not provide comparable independent battery tests, so they cannot support an endurance ranking.

Battery specifications may also distinguish a typical capacity from a rated minimum. Samsung India’s Galaxy A27 5G page calls its battery 5,000mAh typical and lists 4,860mAh rated minimum. The manufacturer says that model can provide up to 23 hours of video playback and charge up to 45% in 30 minutes, while noting that actual battery life varies with network, features, apps, calls, messages and charging patterns. How to choose among the listings
Compare the whole phone and exact offer rather than choosing by battery capacity alone. Before ordering, check:

- Variant: Confirm the listed RAM and storage match the seller’s offer; similarly named models can have different configurations.
- Price and stock: Verify the seller, availability, delivery terms and final price. A directory snapshot can differ from a live offer.
- Charging: Check the model’s supported charging speed and whether the required charger is included; a battery-size figure does not tell you how quickly it will recharge.
- Screen and processor: Consider display size and type and the chipset, since they affect everyday experience as well as power use.
- Cameras and software: Make sure camera capabilities and software support suit your needs; the directory’s battery filter does not answer either question.
Use the directory as a way to find candidates, then verify specifications with the manufacturer and price and variant with the retailer. Its sample rows are listings, not hands-on reviews.

Not by itself. Capacity is only one factor in runtime, and the supplied directory figures do not compare real-world endurance under consistent conditions. Treat 5,000mAh as a screening specification, then look for credible testing of the exact model if battery life is your deciding factor.
