A battery alone is not a USB charger or AC outlet. These five setups cover cooling, lighting, charging, audio, and portable AC power; check the individual product’s battery requirements and manual before use. Milwaukee says M18 batteries are compatible with M18 tools and chargers in its M18 FAQ.

1. Keep air moving at a campsite or patio
The M18 Brushless Fan with PACKOUT Compatibility (0818-20) is a practical option for a campsite, patio, or temporary outdoor work spot when a compatible M18 battery is more convenient than a wall outlet. Milwaukee says an XC5.0 battery provides over 3 hours on high or 6.5 hours at 75% speed. Those figures are tied to that battery and fan setting; other packs and conditions may produce different results. The fan also accepts AC power through its integrated plug. 2. Light a temporary work area after dark
The M18 RADIUS Compact Site Light with ONE-KEY and Twist Lock (2147-20) provides 4,400 lumens and 360-degree coverage for task, area, or overhead lighting, according to Milwaukee. 4. Take Bluetooth audio and USB power outdoors
The M18 Jobsite Radio/Charger (2792-20) combines Bluetooth audio with a USB power port, making it useful for a gathering or work area without a convenient outlet. It can also charge an M18 battery, but Milwaukee says that battery-charging feature works when the radio is plugged in; it should not be mistaken for battery-to-battery charging while running cordless. The M18 CARRY-ON 3600W/1800W Power Supply (2845-20) is the most capable option here for devices that need AC power. Milwaukee lists 3,600 starting watts and 1,800 running watts, plus AC outlets, USB ports, and a pure sine-wave inverter. It requires four M18 batteries, a substantial battery commitment. Milwaukee says it can run suitable 15A tools and sensitive electronics; that does not mean every household appliance is suitable. Check compatibility before packing a battery
- Match the M18 battery platform to the specific product and follow that product’s manual; M18 compatibility does not mean every M18 device has the same battery requirements.
