In a statement dated September 30, 2025, DJI said a U.S. district court rejected most Department of Defense allegations, including claims of government ownership or control, while allowing the designation at issue to remain. The article names the Atom 2 and reports a 1/2-inch Sony sensor, 48-megapixel photos, 4K HDR video at 30 frames per second, a three-axis gimbal, AI tracking, and roughly 30 minutes of flight time. Treat those as published claims, not verified real-world performance. Its reported $399.99 bundle price was the price at article publication; it should not be read as a current price or a guarantee of the same bundle contents.

HoverAir: a brand associated with Zero Zero Robotics

Skyrover: former DJI employees are not proof of DJI ownership

What do the names mean for choosing a drone?
Corporate ties alone do not tell you which aircraft suits your needs. The article’s descriptions point to different intended uses: Antigravity A1 for 360-degree capture, HoverAir X1 ProMax for automated follow-me filming, and Potensic Atom 2 as a conventional camera-drone example. DJI is the established Shenzhen-based maker in the list. Skyrover’s named models are S1 and X1, but the available description does not give enough product detail here to compare their capabilities.

Those figures are historical testimony, not a 2026 market estimate. They provide context for the prominence of Chinese-based manufacturers, but should not be used as current market shares.
