The right home-office speakerphone depends on who needs to be heard and where you will use it. For a solo desk, the Poly Sync 20 is positioned as a personal option; for a small group, TechWise Reviews points to the EMEET Luna; and for a feature-rich choice, Jabra’s Speak2 55 has the clearest manufacturer-documented feature set in this shortlist. These are five candidates organized by use case—not a universal ranking or a claim of hands-on testing.
Five speakerphones, matched to different needs
| Pick | Best fit in the cited comparisons | Documented connection or feature details | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jabra Speak2 55 | Feature-rich desk calls | USB-A and USB-C cable connectors; Bluetooth 5.1; four beamforming microphones; full-duplex audio | Jabra’s specifications are from a March 2023 datasheet. IP64 protection applies only to the MS variant. |
| Anker PowerConf S3 | Overall home-office pick in TechWise Reviews’ comparison | USB-C, Bluetooth 5, six-microphone array, and up to 24 hours of claimed call time | Those specifications are comparison-reported claims, not measurements made for this article. |
| EMEET Luna | Small groups, according to TechWise Reviews | TechWise Reviews discusses it alongside the PowerConf S3 and Jabra Speak 510. | Confirm the exact Luna model and its current specifications; the comparison does not establish that every Luna variant has the same features. |
| AnkerWork PowerConf S500 | Value-minded alternative in Real Buyer Experiences’ comparison | The comparison considers pickup, full-duplex clarity, room size, connectivity, battery, portability, and certification. | The article synthesizes owner claims and other reviews rather than reporting independent laboratory tests. |
| Poly Sync 20 | Solo remote work and travel, according to Real Buyer Experiences | The comparison reports roughly two-meter pickup and lists USB-A and USB-C versions, as well as Teams and Zoom variants. | The pickup figure and positioning are comparison-reported, not manufacturer-verified in the cited material. |
Jabra Speak2 55: documented features for a flexible desk setup
Jabra’s March 2023 datasheet lists four beamforming microphones, a 50 mm speaker, full-duplex audio, voice-level normalization, USB-A and USB-C connectors on the cable, Bluetooth 5.1, and up to 12 hours of wireless calls and music. Jabra describes full duplex as letting people speak and be heard at the same time. That feature matters when a conversation has natural interruptions or participants occasionally talk over one another.

The datasheet’s IP64 rating is for the MS variant only; do not assume it applies to other variants. Because the specification sheet is dated March 2023, check the exact model listing and current platform or software status before buying.

TechWise Reviews’ August 23, 2026 comparison names the PowerConf S3 its overall home-office pick and reports a six-microphone array, USB-C, Bluetooth 5, and up to 24 hours of claimed call time. It also reports an included travel case. Treat the battery figure and feature details as claims relayed by that comparison, not as independently measured performance here. TechWise’s practical distinction is that USB is a straightforward desk connection, while Bluetooth can be useful for a phone.

EMEET Luna: a small-group candidate, with a variant check
TechWise Reviews presents the Luna as a small-group option and discusses it alongside the PowerConf S3 and Jabra Speak 510. Its comparison does not support a blanket statement about every Luna model. Check the model name and the current listing for the specific connection, pickup, and compatibility details you need.
AnkerWork PowerConf S500: a value-oriented alternative
Real Buyer Experiences includes the PowerConf S500 as a value-minded option and evaluates it across pickup, full-duplex clarity, room size, connectivity, battery, portability, and certification. Its article synthesizes owner claims and other reviews; it is not evidence of an independent audio-lab test. Compare the exact version’s published specifications with your room and connection needs rather than treating the value label as a measured price-to-performance result.

Poly Sync 20: personal calls and travel
Real Buyer Experiences positions the Sync 20 for solo remote workers and travelers. It reports roughly two-meter pickup, which it considers suitable for one or two people, and lists USB-A and USB-C versions plus Teams and Zoom variants. These are claims from that publisher’s comparison, not manufacturer-verified specifications in the material cited here. Check the connector and platform variant before choosing one.
How to choose for your room and calls
Start with the number and spacing of speakers
Think about how many people will speak and how far they sit from the device. A compact personal speakerphone is not automatically a good fit for several people around a larger table. Real Buyer Experiences treats around two-meter pickup as personal-use guidance and cautions that the compared devices are not replacements for a large-room microphone system. Microphone count alone does not establish room coverage or noise rejection.
Rank #3
- Smart Voice Enhancement: Eliminate background noise while simultaneously enhancing voices for a professional meeting experience in any environment.
- Plug and Play: Connect via USB-C (includes standard USB adapter) and join meetings in an instant. A wired connection offers a stable and reliable USB speakerphone experience.
- 360° Voice Coverage: A USB speakerphone with 4 high-sensitivity microphones to pick up all voices within 3m in super-high clarity.
- Superior Sound: A 1.75” driver paired with 2 passive bass-radiators adds body and depth to both meeting audio and music.
- What’s In The Box: PowerConf S330 USB Speakerphone, USB-C to USB-A adapter.
Choose the connection you will actually use
- USB: A wired connection can simplify a fixed laptop desk setup. TechWise Reviews recommends USB when laptop Bluetooth is unreliable.
- Bluetooth: Wireless pairing can be useful with a phone or when moving the device between locations. Confirm that the specific model and variant support the Bluetooth version and devices you need.
- Both: If you want a speakerphone to serve a desk and mobile devices, verify both connection methods on the exact product listing rather than inferring support from another model in its product family.
Look beyond the microphone count
Full-duplex support is useful when people at both ends may speak simultaneously: it is intended to preserve two-way conversation rather than suppressing one side whenever the other speaks. Jabra documents full-duplex audio for the Speak2 55. For other candidates in this shortlist, the cited comparisons discuss full-duplex clarity as an evaluation criterion, but the evidence here does not establish equivalent manufacturer specifications for every model.
Consider battery, portability, and certification only as needed
If the device stays on a desk and connects by USB, battery life may matter less than room fit and reliable connectivity. For travel or phone use, check the exact model’s battery claim, included accessories, and size. Likewise, a Teams or Zoom designation may matter in a managed workplace, but confirm the variant and current compatibility requirements; a comparison’s mention of a platform variant is not a substitute for checking the manufacturer’s current listing.

What the comparisons can—and cannot—tell you
Manufacturer specifications are the stronger source for a stated feature on a particular model, while editorial comparisons provide judgments about intended use. Jabra’s Speak2 55 datasheet is a manufacturer source dated March 2023. TechWise Reviews’ comparison, dated August 23, 2026, names its own picks and relays product claims. Real Buyer Experiences’ comparison, updated September 18, 2026, synthesizes external reviews and owner reports rather than running its own audio lab. None of those judgments establishes a universal best speakerphone or a firsthand test result for this article.

TechWise Reviews also advises treating a speakerphone as a tool for repeatable desk calls, not as a substitute for a headset in a noisy shared room, and placing it on a clear surface. Those are that publisher’s practical recommendations, not formal acoustic standards.
