Woman of the Hour (2024): true-story crime drama
Woman of the Hour follows aspiring actor Sheryl Bradshaw on The Dating Game and serial killer Rodney Alcala, while also centering the victims. Netflix Tudum lists it at 1 hour 34 minutes and rates it R.
Rank #2
Director and star Anna Kendrick told Netflix Tudum, “I’m not really interested in the real Rodney,” and said she was “more interested in trying to depict the kind of experience that we are more likely to have.” Her comments describe the film’s approach to the story, rather than an interest in making Alcala its focus.
