Here’s what each kit includes, what the arithmetic actually covers, and what to check before buying.
How to read these price comparisons
The kit prices and component totals below come from Shane O’Neill’s SlashGear article published September 29, 2026. They are reported figures from that date, not guaranteed live offers. A lower bundle price is meaningful only when the standalone comparison covers the same tools and included items.

In particular, bags, chargers, accessories, and discontinued standalone tools are not consistently included in the component totals. Treat the dollar difference as an indication of potential bundle value, not a like-for-like savings guarantee.
At a glance
| Kit | Reported kit price | Reported separate-component total | What the total excludes or qualifies |
|---|---|---|---|
| 18V ONE+ 2-tool | $179 | $277.91 including charger | Work bag excluded; the $242.94 subtotal covers the drill, saw, and batteries but not the charger. |
| 18V ONE+ HP brushless 2-tool | $199 | $311.97 for remaining items available separately | The drill-driver was described as discontinued for individual sale, so the total does not price every kit component. |
| 18V ONE+ 4-tool | $249 | $385.94 for listed tools and batteries | Charger and work bag excluded. |
| 18V ONE+ 10-tool | $679 | $792.88 partial total | Accessories and discontinued tools excluded. |

#1 Best Overall
- Perfect Combo Kit for all your DIY and professional needs
- Includes: 6 Tools, 2 Batteries, Charger, Bag, and Accessories
- Over 125 ONE+ Tools – All Work With Any RYOBI ONE+ 18V Battery
1. 18V ONE+ 2-tool combo kit
What’s included
The reported kit includes a PCL206 drill-driver, PCL500 circular saw, two PBP002 1.5 Ah batteries, PCG002 charger, and work bag.
How the price compares
SlashGear reported a $179 kit price. Its listed standalone total was $242.94 for the drill, saw, and batteries, rising to $277.91 when the charger was counted. The work bag was not included in either total, so the comparison does not assign it a standalone value.
Who should consider it
This is the straightforward option if a drill-driver and circular saw are the tools you need and the two 1.5 Ah batteries suit your expected workload. Check the current price of the exact models and charger before treating the reported difference as a present-day saving.

2. 18V ONE+ HP brushless 2-tool combo kit
What’s included
The HP brushless bundle pairs a PBLDD01 brushless drill-driver with a PBLID01 brushless impact driver. It also includes two 2 Ah high-performance batteries, a charger, and a work bag.
How the price compares
SlashGear reported a $199 kit price and $311.97 for the remaining items then available separately. The article described the drill-driver as discontinued for individual sale, so $311.97 is not the standalone price of every component in the kit.
Why the motor tier matters
This is the only brushless example among the four. It should not be treated as performance-equivalent to the standard ONE+ kits: the motor type and included high-performance batteries are part of what distinguishes it. Choose it if the drill-and-impact-driver combination and brushless tools fit your work, rather than comparing only the tool count or headline price.
Rank #3
- Ten (10), heavy-duty tools help you tackle most household projects
- Compatible with the rest of the Ryobi ONE+ collection
- Durable bag allows for easy storage and portability
- All included tools work with any Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ battery
3. 18V ONE+ 4-tool combo kit
What’s included
The reported set contains a PCL206 drill-driver, PCL235 impact driver, PCL500 circular saw, and PCL660 LED work light. It comes with one PBP002 1.5 Ah battery, one PBP005 4.0 Ah battery, a charger, and a work bag.
How the price compares
SlashGear reported a $249 kit price and a $385.94 total for listed individual tools and batteries. That component figure excludes the charger and bag.
Check the exact model listing
RYOBI’s U.S. combo-kit catalog, accessed October 7, 2026, lists the PCL1400K2 18V ONE+ 4-tool kit and displays both $199 and $249. Those are catalog-displayed prices, not a promise that either price will remain available. The Home Depot listing identifies PCL1400K2 as an 18V cordless four-tool kit with compact and 4.0 Ah batteries and a charger; it confirms the model and product description, not current price or inventory.
Rank #4
Confirm that a listing is specifically for PCL1400K2 and compare its included components, retailer, location, and date. Do not assume every product called a Ryobi four-tool kit is the same bundle.

Best Value
- Ergonomically Designed: Work in tight areas with a compact design that gets into tough spots
- Both tools are designed to fit into difficult to reach spaces
- Complete a wide range of applications with a high-performance motor that delivers up to 300 UWO, and an impact driver delivering up to 1,400 in-lbs of torque

- One-Handed Loading - Keep one hand free with a 1/4 in. hex chuck that accepts 1 in. bit tips
How the price compares
SlashGear reported a $679 kit price and a $792.88 partial standalone total. That figure excludes accessory costs and discontinued tools, so it is not a complete price for buying every kit item separately.
When a large bundle makes sense
A ten-tool count is useful only if the tools match projects you expect to do. Before buying, identify the exact tools and accessories in the current package, then compare the cost of those same items—not a different generation or a partial list—at the same retailer and date.
How to decide whether a bundle is actually the better buy
- Match the tool mix to your work. A drill-and-saw set, a drill-and-impact-driver pair, and a broad specialty-tool bundle solve different needs.
- Compare motor tier. The HP brushless kit is not directly interchangeable with the standard ONE+ examples simply because both are cordless 18V kits.
- Compare batteries by count and capacity. Note both the number of batteries and their amp-hour ratings; a larger capacity may matter more for sustained work than an extra tool you will rarely use.
- Include the accessories you need. Check whether the charger, bag, blades, or other accessories are in the package and whether they were counted in any standalone total.
- Use an exact, current like-for-like comparison. Verify model numbers, availability, retailer, location, and date. If an individual tool is discontinued or the published total omits items, treat the arithmetic as partial rather than as a precise saving.
The source article says Ryobi sells through its own site and Home Depot, but the available product records do not establish that those are the only retailers. Check the retailer and offer available to you rather than relying on a broad assumption about where the kits are sold.
