What to know before you order

Three meal ideas to price-check
These are pairings, not guaranteed vendor combos. The totals below are capped suggestions rather than quoted prices: add the current posted prices at the stand, and choose or adjust portions to stay within your budget.

1. Fletcher’s Original Corny Dog with fries
The fair lists Fletcher’s Original Corny Dog at 8 coupons ($8). State Fair Every Day Values Add fries from a stand that lists them, checking their posted price first. For a $25 ceiling, the fries and any other purchase must total no more than $17; for example, use the calculation $8 + posted fries price = meal total.

2. Chicken tenders with fries
Chicken tenders and fries both appear in the fair’s official food-under-$10 selection, but that does not establish the price of a particular serving or guarantee that the two together cost less than $25. 3. A Howdy’s small-portion favorite with a second item
Howdy’s 2026 Value Menu includes smaller portions such as pickle pizza, funnel cakes and hand-shaken lemonade for 6 or 8 coupons ($6 or $8). Check for Every Day Value items
More than 200 food and drink items are listed at $10 or less, and participating stands display an “Every Day Value” sticker. That price threshold can help you compare options, but it does not by itself ensure that several items together fit a $25 budget.
