A full-size layout keeps the number pad, which can be useful for spreadsheets and numeric entry, but takes more desk space than a compact board. If you rarely use a number pad, a smaller layout may be a better fit.

3. Gamakay x NaughShark NS68: a wired gaming-focused choice

How to choose between them
- Choose by layout: The V6 Max’s full-size layout retains the number pad; compact choices save space but remove keys. Consider your actual desk and workflow.
- Choose by connection: A wired board avoids battery management. Wireless can make a desk tidier or support a multi-device setup, but confirm the model’s modes on the exact listing.
- Choose by switch type and use: Traditional mechanical and Hall effect switches are different approaches. A polling-rate specification is not proof of a perceptible improvement for every player.
