28 Days Later and Midsommar are among the horror films a September 28 report says will arrive on Tubi in October 2026; it lists Late Night with the Devil for October 19. Tubi is an ad-supported service, so “free” here means no subscription or rental fee, with ads. The list and dates have not been confirmed by an official Tubi October schedule, and streaming catalogs can vary by location.

| Movie | Reported Tubi date | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| 28 Days Later | October 1, 2026 | The report includes it among Tubi’s October horror titles. Sony describes the film as a horror story about Jim waking from a coma in a deserted London during a deadly outbreak. |
| Midsommar (2019) | October 1, 2026 | The report lists it among the horror arrivals. Hulu’s official schedule also lists it for October 1, but Hulu is a separate subscription option, not free Tubi viewing. |
| Late Night with the Devil (2023) | October 19, 2026 | The report gives this later date. Disney+ lists a runtime of 1 hour 32 minutes and offers the film by subscription; in the US, a JustWatch listing checked October 2 also reported free Kanopy streaming. |
The Tubi dates and titles come from a secondary report, not an official Tubi schedule confirming these additions. The report says: “Please note that all titles will arrive on Tubi on October 1st unless otherwise noted.” Check your local Tubi catalog in October before planning a watch.

28 Days Later
Sony’s official film page labels 28 Days Later “Now on Digital” and links to Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango, and YouTube. Those are digital storefront routes, not evidence of free streaming. The reported no-subscription option is Tubi, if the film appears in your local catalog.
#1 Best Overall
Midsommar
Hulu’s official press schedule lists Midsommar as added October 1, 2026. That is a subscription route, distinct from the reported free, ad-supported Tubi listing.
Late Night with the Devil
For the US, JustWatch reported on October 2, 2026 that the movie was available free on Kanopy, alongside subscription services including Hulu, Philo, AMC+, and Shudder, plus paid digital rental and purchase options. Kanopy availability can depend on your location and access through a participating library or institution; it is not a universal free option. The reported Tubi date is October 19, so confirm the listing directly when that date arrives.
Rank #2
How to check availability before watching
- Search for the movie in the Tubi app or on Tubi’s website and confirm it is playable in your location.
- For Late Night with the Devil, check Kanopy’s catalog and your library or institution’s eligibility rules if you want to use that free route.
- Treat Hulu and the other listed subscription services as paid options, and digital storefront listings as rental or purchase routes unless their own pages explicitly say otherwise.
Sources and availability scope
This is a US-oriented availability snapshot dated October 3, 2026. The Tubi titles and arrival dates are attributed to a September 28 report; the available evidence does not establish that Tubi itself published or confirmed this October schedule. Catalogs may differ by territory and change during the month.
