Treat battery claims as manufacturer-style figures, not a guarantee of your runtime
Among the listed wireless models, PC Gamer reports the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless at 300 hours, the ASUS ROG Pelta at up to 90 hours under best conditions (while its summary says 70), and the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed, Corsair Void V2, BlackShark V3, and BlackShark V3 Pro at 70 hours each. The roundup does not establish a common test method for comparing these figures. Use them as reported specifications, not a promise of equal real-world performance.

Most models in the list are closed-back. PC Gamer identifies the ASUS ROG Kithara as wired and open-back, with 100 mm planar magnetic drivers. Open-back construction is a distinct design choice from closed-back models; the roundup positions the Kithara as its premium option rather than a budget substitute.
Consider the microphone and extras you will actually use
The roundup describes the BlackShark V2 X as having a decent microphone, notes that the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed has a detachable microphone arm, and characterizes the Cloud Alpha Wireless and Fractal Design Scape microphones as average. It also reports ANC on the BlackShark V3 Pro, with a reviewer’s assessment that its implementation was not especially effective. The Scape includes a Qi charging stand but lacks noise cancellation. Treat those as practical trade-offs rather than assuming a higher price means every feature is better.

Check the date before treating any price as a deal
The figures above were published by PC Gamer on October 6, 2026; they are not live-price confirmations. Offers and stock can change, and the roundup itself has minor inconsistencies between its summary and detailed copy for some former prices and the Pelta battery-life label. Amazon’s official Prime Day 2026 roundup describes a separate June 23–26 event and says deal availability can change. Those June dates do not establish the timing or availability of the October headset listings.
