For pressure cooking and a broader range of jobs
The Ninja HyperHeat and Instant Pot Plus are pressure-cooker options in the roundup. The Ninja Foodi 11-in-1 6L SmartLid adds air-fry and grill modes to pressure cooking, steaming and other functions. If pressure cooking is a priority, compare the exact model’s capacity, included accessories and controls before treating a high mode count as a deciding advantage.
For slow cooking without pressure functions
The Crock-Pot Lift and Serve, Tower and Morphy Richards are slow cookers. They may suit cooks who mainly want long, low-temperature cooking and a simpler appliance, but they are not like-for-like substitutes for a pressure cooker. T3 lists 3.5 litres for both the Tower and Morphy Richards; it does not state a capacity for the Crock-Pot in this roundup.

For rice, steaming or flexible stovetop-style cooking
The Cosori is led by rice cooking, with slow-cook and steam options. The Cuisinart list centres on grilling, searing, sautéing, steaming and slow cooking. The Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker is presented as an eight-function, larger-portion choice. Check the specific functions and accessories against your regular meals rather than assuming every mode will be useful.
What to check before choosing a deal
- Capacity and servings: T3 says the PossibleCooker handles up to eight portions and the HyperHeat can feed up to six. These are different kinds of claims and do not establish equivalent usable capacity. As a separate model-specific example, Which?’s August 2023 test listing gives the Ninja Foodi MAX a 7.5-litre capacity; that is not a specification for the PossibleCooker or SmartLid listed above.
- Included parts and storage: Check which pots, lids, racks, baskets and trays come in the box, and whether there is space to store them. Which? lists separate pressure and air-frying lids and accessories for the Instant Pot Duo Crisp. TechRadar says the Duo Crisp’s air-fryer lid is bulky and its test unit did not include a vegetable-steaming rack. Those details concern the Duo Crisp, not every Instant Pot model.
- Ease of use, cleaning and running costs: Which? says its multi-cooker testing considers cooking results and versatility, instructions and ease of use, energy consumption and cleaning. Its running-cost table uses power ratings and an assumed electricity price of 27.69p per kWh, so the figures are estimates based on that assumption, not a prediction of every household’s bill. Which? says its tests were conducted in August 2023 and its page was last checked in June 2026.
- What “multi-cooker” means: Which? defines its tested category as appliances with at least five cooking modes, including air frying or roasting/baking and at least one of pressure cooking, slow cooking or steaming. That definition is specific to Which?’s test category; the T3 roundup also includes simpler slow cookers that do not meet it.
- Whether the deal is worthwhile: Match the offer to features you expect to use. T3’s “was” prices are the article’s comparisons, not audited historical lows. Verify the retailer’s current price, stock and delivery terms before purchasing.
Which?’s testing criteria and model listings are available at Which?. Its product coverage should not be treated as testing of every model in T3’s sale list.

Instant Pot alternatives and model differences
Instant Pot’s manufacturer comparison page lists the RIO (6 QT, 7-in-1), RIO Wide (7.5 QT, 7-in-1), Duo Crisp (6.5 QT, 13-in-1) and Pro Max (6 QT, 10-in-1). The company highlights an air-fryer lid for the Duo Crisp and Wi-Fi remote control for the Pro Max. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test findings, and they refer to models that are not necessarily the Instant Pot Plus in T3’s deal list.
