Valve says a Verified game “works great on Steam Deck, right out of the box.” Its compatibility documentation distinguishes Verified from Playable: a Playable game may need some manual adjustment, such as choosing a community controller layout or using the touchscreen to operate a launcher. Compatibility reviews continue as games and updates arrive, so a label is not a performance ranking.

How to choose from the list
- Compare prices: The Talos Principle 2 has the lowest reported price at $2.99. The other choices range from $5.99 to $9.99.
- Use your own preferences: If you already know a franchise or have a particular kind of game in mind, use that preference to narrow the options; this list does not rank titles by genre or play style.

When the Autumn Sale ends
Valve’s official Steamworks event schedule gives the Autumn Sale window as October 1–8, 2026, ending at 10 a.m. Pacific. Buyers outside the US should check their local Steam store for the price in their currency and whether each offer is available.
