They describe two separate reward systems: the Urn of Calamity adds World Boss gear rewards, while Essence of Hellfire was described on the 2.5.0 Public Test Realm (PTR) as granting Lair Boss Keys for surviving World Boss encounters. The Heavenly Forge and Sanctification are separate again.
What does the World Boss loot bonus do?
Blizzard’s Season of Divine Intervention article says the Urn of Calamity provides additional gear rewards from World Bosses. It does not specify an exact item count, so “+1” should not be read as a confirmed promise of precisely one extra drop. Check the Urn’s current description in the game for its live effect and any requirements.

Blizzard’s 2.5.0 PTR overview described Essence of Hellfire as a reward track through which surviving World Boss encounters earns Lair Boss Keys, with the keys doubled while Purified. This is a PTR description, not confirmation that the same rule is active in the current live game. How does the Heavenly Forge fit in?
Blizzard describes Heavenly Sigils as items players can obtain and use to travel to the Heavenly Forge for Sanctification. This is an item-modification system, not the Urn of Calamity’s World Boss gear bonus or the PTR’s Essence of Hellfire key reward. The Season article does not establish that a World Boss “+1 loot” action directly forges or Sanctifies an item.
