Overview

Textedly brings scheduled campaigns, automated replies and collaborative conversation handling into one service. That combination can cover recurring outreach as well as incoming customer messages; audience segmentation and workflow automation add ways to target and route that work. Its plans scale from 500 monthly messages to much larger volumes, but the allowance is the key buying constraint: the lowest-priced plan offers only 500 messages per month.

Key features

Campaign options include scheduled messages, drip campaigns, text-to-join and text voting. Together with SMS and MMS support, these make Textedly suitable for businesses that want several forms of text outreach. Automatic replies can answer inbound messages and be scheduled for selected times, while the omnichannel inbox lets teammates assign conversations and build response workflows. This shared handling is useful when more than one person manages customer texts.

Every plan includes SMS Text-to-Pay and Google Business Reviews. Integrations include Slack, Salesforce, Zapier, Mailchimp, WordPress, Constant Contact, HubSpot, Shopify and Zendesk. The iOS and Android apps support mass blasts, scheduled campaigns and real-time push notifications, alongside web access.

Textedly says it uses SSL encryption, HTTPS, role-based permissions and mandatory two-factor authentication. It also describes employee background checks and security training, infrastructure monitoring, vulnerability scans and independent third-party testing. Customer service is offered seven days a week by phone, web chat, email or text.

Pricing

Textedly has a free account with 50 text messages and one custom keyword, no credit card required and no time limit stated. It is a small allowance for trying the service, not a meaningful ongoing campaign tier. Paid monthly plans start at 29.00 USD per month, and annual billing adds 20% more messages each month.

Basic: 29.00 USD per month for 500 messages monthly, or 600 with annual billing. The entry point suits very small campaigns, but the quota can be restrictive if outreach is frequent.
Bronze: 49.00 USD per month for 1,000 messages monthly, or 1,200 annually. This doubles the monthly allowance over Basic for organizations with modestly higher volume.
Plus: 79.00 USD per month for 2,000 messages monthly, or 2,400 annually. It fits campaigns that have outgrown the first two tiers without requiring a larger commitment.
Enterprise: 125.00 USD per month for 3,500 messages monthly, or 4,200 annually; Elite: 169.00 USD per month for 5,000, or 6,000 annually. These step-ups serve growing message needs, though buyers should compare the next allowance against expected volume.
Business: 299.00 USD per month for 10,000 messages monthly, or 12,000 annually; Silver: 420.00 USD per month for 15,000, or 18,000 annually. These suit larger ongoing programs that can use a five-figure monthly quota.
Premium: 599.00 USD per month for 25,000 messages monthly, or 30,000 annually; Pro: 720.00 USD per month for 35,000, or 42,000 annually; Gold: 1020.00 USD per month for 50,000, or 60,000 annually. These tiers are aimed at high-volume messaging, with the higher monthly spend justified only when the extra allowance is needed.

The published plan range reaches 50,000 messages monthly, or 60,000 with annual billing. There is no stated seat count in these plan details, so teams should focus on whether their expected traffic fits the relevant allowance.

Platforms

Textedly runs on the web and has Android and iOS apps. The mobile apps cover sending blasts and scheduled campaigns and provide real-time push notifications, making them useful for managing outreach away from a desk.

Who it's for

Textedly is a good fit for businesses and organizations that need SMS or MMS campaigns plus a team inbox for inbound conversations. Its automation, integrations and mobile apps support a broader messaging operation. It is less compelling for a low-volume sender who needs only occasional texts, since the free account is capped at 50 messages and the first paid tier starts at 500 monthly messages.

Pros and cons

Pro: Scheduled and drip campaigns, text-to-join, voting and MMS give businesses several outreach formats in one service.
Pro: Automated replies and a shared inbox support both immediate responses and team assignment of incoming conversations.
Pro: Every plan includes SMS Text-to-Pay and Google Business Reviews, extending the offering beyond campaign delivery.
Con: The free account's 50-message allowance is too small for sustained outreach, and the entry paid tier is limited to 500 messages monthly.
Con: Larger quotas become costly, with Gold at 1020.00 USD per month; high-volume buyers should ensure the added monthly allowance matches real demand.

Alternatives

Business Text Messaging Software, Messenger Marketing Software, SMS Marketing Software and Two-Way SMS Software are useful category lists for comparing other options.

Bird Verify is worth considering when verification is the priority: verification has no separate fee, though channel message charges apply.
Remelo is a freemium web alternative.
Kenect is a paid alternative available on web, iOS and Android.
Pulse SMS is a paid alternative available on web, iOS and Android.
Text Request is another option for buyers comparing plans; its Enterprise plan is 575.00 USD per month and includes 20,000 texts and 10 dashboards, with additional texts at $0.032.
MessageDesk offers a Team (yearly) plan at 29.00 USD per year per user per month, with an annual contract and a three-user minimum.
Sinch Engage lists plans with 3,000 or 10,000 SMS per month, but their prices are custom pricing.
Apptoto starts at 30.00 USD per month and charges $10 for each additional user.

Verdict

Choose Textedly if your organization needs a single service for scheduled SMS and MMS outreach, automated replies and shared handling of incoming conversations. Its campaign range, integrations and mobile apps make it a capable fit across small and larger programs, but the plan allowance must match actual use. Look elsewhere if 500 monthly messages is too restrictive at the entry tier or if the higher-volume plans do not justify their cost.
