Overview

Wallist divides its offering into Promote plans for business visibility and Operate plans for service work. That lets a business pay for a public profile without buying job-management tools, or focus on operating jobs without taking the higher Promote tiers. Businesses seeking both marketing and operations should compare the separate plan costs rather than assume one subscription covers everything.

Key features

Profiles and customer leads

The profile builder uses AI to draft a logo, hero image, overview, and about-us description, which users can edit. Promote plans add lead capture, a Wallist subdomain, verification, Google reviews, and, at Growth, a custom .com domain and more site tools. This is a useful package for a small business building its online presence; the free profile is less useful to a business that needs job scheduling or invoicing, which belong to Operate.

Estimates, scheduling, and payments

Estimates can include services, discounts, tax rates, attachments, and terms. Customers can review and approve estimates and pay invoices in the branded Client Hub, while payment tracking keeps transactions in the same workflow. Stripe handles card and ACH payments at stated fees of 3% for cards and 1% for ACH. Customers may also pay by check, Venmo, cash, or other means, but those are not Stripe payment methods.

Operate Business adds scheduling, a team calendar, dispatch, appointment notifications, and attachments and photos. Wallist sends SMS and email updates, reminders, and on-the-way notices, and supports drag-and-drop rescheduling. These tools suit businesses coordinating appointments and field staff; the per-user pricing makes them less attractive for larger teams on tight budgets.

Staff controls, reviews, and privacy

Job Pros can view and update only their assigned jobs, Administrators have full access, and Viewers can only view. That separation supports limited staff access without giving every worker administrative control. After an online card or ACH invoice payment, Wallist assigns an initial five-star rating that the customer can change. Wallist says it shares personal information with service providers that help run its website and related services, as well as in certain other circumstances. Google Play says data is encrypted in transit and deletion can be requested; the listing also says the app may share personal information and photos or videos.

Pricing

Wallist has a free Promote plan, a 30-day free trial with access to all features and no credit card required, and paid Promote and Operate tiers. Operate prices are per user, so the listed monthly amount is not a whole-team price.

Plan	Price	What it includes
Promote Starter	0.00 USD per free, billed Forever	Company profile, photo gallery, service catalog, Wallist reviews, social links, email support, unlimited users.
Promote Business (annual)	6.00 USD per month, billed Annual plan	Everything in Starter, unlimited customer leads, Wallist subdomain, verified profile, Google reviews, phone support.
Promote Business (monthly)	9.00 USD per month, billed Monthly plan	Everything in Starter, unlimited customer leads, Wallist subdomain, verified profile, Google reviews, phone support.

Operate Business (monthly)	19.00 USD per month, billed Monthly plan, per user	Everything in Starter, unlimited jobs, scheduling and team calendar, dispatch, appointment notifications, attachments and photos, phone support.
Operate Growth (annual)	25.00 USD per month, billed Annual plan, per user	Everything in Business, dedicated SMS number, two-way texting, subscriptions and service plans, priority support.

Promote Starter is a sensible no-cost starting point for a business that needs a profile and service catalog, but it does not include the Operate workflow for estimates, invoices, and jobs. Promote Business is for businesses seeking lead and profile visibility; Growth adds site customization and a featured listing. The annual versions cost less per month than the matching monthly plans, in exchange for annual billing.

Operate Starter fits businesses that need client records, estimates, invoices, and payment collection but not scheduling tools. Business is the operational tier for dispatch and appointment coordination, while Growth adds two-way texting and service plans. Starter’s lower price comes with no scheduling or dispatch; those features require a higher per-user tier. The 30-day trial gives a chance to evaluate the full feature set before committing.

Platforms

Wallist is available on Android, iOS, and the web. The handyman page says it can be used from Android phones, iPhones, and laptops, giving field staff and office users access on their respective devices.

Who it's for

Wallist is a strong fit for handyman and other service businesses that want a customer-facing profile alongside estimates, invoicing, and payments, especially when customers approving work and settling invoices online are central to the workflow. Businesses with staff can use assigned-job access and add scheduling and dispatch through Operate Business. It is a weaker fit for teams that need predictable low-cost access for many workers, or businesses looking only for operations and already satisfied with their marketing presence.

Pros and cons

Pros: The Client Hub brings estimate approval and invoice payment into a branded customer-facing workflow.
Pros: Estimates support discounts, tax rates, attachments, and terms, giving businesses room to present more complete quotes.
Pros: Appointment notifications and drag-and-drop rescheduling help coordinate changing schedules.
Cons: Operate plans are priced per user, and scheduling and dispatch require Business or higher.
Cons: Card and ACH processing fees of 3% and 1% respectively add a transaction cost to online payments.
Cons: Promote and Operate are separate plan families, so businesses wanting both marketing and operational tools need to budget across both.

Alternatives

Handyman Software is a useful place to compare more tools for this trade. Consider Fieseros if a free plan with 100 lifetime jobs, quotes, a basic calendar, invoices, and payments better matches a small operation. Contractor+ may suit someone who wants a free CRM tier capped at 250 leads and clients and five estimates or invoices monthly. FieldVibe is worth considering for a solo user who wants unlimited jobs and clients on a free plan, with manual reminders and a single-device limit. ProDesk is an option for Service Connection and FieldDirect customers who can use its free offering while available. Choose Tradify if you need a paid job-management option with Google Calendar sync and support for Windows and macOS. Workly is another paid option to compare. MrTask may suit a solo operator looking for a paid plan that includes one bonus user. Renovate is an alternative with paid Pro and Pro Plus plans and unlimited estimates and invoices on Pro.

Verdict

Choose Wallist if your service business wants one system for a public profile, customer-approved estimates, invoices, and field scheduling, with controlled access for staff. Its strongest case is the connected customer and job workflow; look elsewhere if per-user operational pricing or the separate Promote and Operate plan structure makes the total cost a poor fit.
