Poki Playtesting vs The Playtest
Both stand on game playtesting platforms. Which one you can start free with, which one lets you read the code, and what each costs once you pay.
Poki Playtesting offers free recorded sessions and additional fit tests for web games, with results covering player behavior and device context. Treat test execution and platform placement as uncertain: uploading alone does not guarantee either.
Visit Poki PlaytestingIndie studios looking for a structured way to recruit testers and work through feedback should consider The Playtest. Its free access for small teams and applicant review tools are useful reasons to start; teams needing a marketplace or social network should look elsewhere, since the product describes itself as neither.
