Overview

TNC Track is a workforce management platform that combines attendance, leave, people administration and project tools. It best suits remote, hybrid and multi-location teams that want those workflows in one system. The free core makes it possible to start small, but five free seats and paid add-on modules can shape the cost as a team grows.

Key features

Employees can clock in and out on the web, mobile apps or NFC stations. Timezone-aware shifts, missed-punch alerts, overtime calculations and leave-without-pay handling give managers more than a basic time clock. Online leave applications, one-click approvals, balance and accrual tracking, region-specific holiday calendars and a shared team calendar support distributed teams; the listed accrual rules are basic.

Project tools include a six-stage Kanban board, sprint planning, Gantt timelines, task assignment, timesheets and workload alerts. Other modules cover employee records and onboarding, org charts, salary and payslips, invoicing, CRM, analytics, awards, training and skills tracking, and company policies. This breadth can consolidate several workflows, though most modules become paid after their initial 30 days.

Manny, the described GPT-4o assistant, can read company policy, answer questions and draft reports. Role-based permissions reach individual sections and actions. The maker also states that tenant data is isolated at the database layer, encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2+ and at rest, and protected with hashed credentials and HttpOnly-cookie sessions. Its controls are described as SOC 2 Type II aligned and GDPR-ready, with data export and deletion available on request. A 99.9% uptime SLA is advertised.

Pricing

The Free · Pay as you grow plan costs 0.00 USD per free. It includes five seats, with additional seats at $5 per month each, and Team & Attendance remain free forever. Other modules are free for 30 days, then cost $10/mo per module. Extra seats are billed on the 1st, with mid-month prorating; the module add-on plan is $10.00 USD per month after the 30-day trial. The free plan includes email support.

Work & Projects, HR & Compliance, Finance and Insights are each $10.00 USD per month after their 30-day trial. Work & Projects adds project tracking, tasks, sprints and bandwidth planning. HR & Compliance covers org structure, permissions, training, awards, documents and policy; Finance includes salary, payslips, invoicing, subscription tracking and CRM. Insights adds reports, analytics, the AI assistant and workforce productivity insights. These per-module charges suit teams that can choose only what they need, but enabling several modules raises the ongoing bill.

Enterprise has custom pricing and unlimited seats; it is not available through self-serve checkout. It includes priority support, a dedicated manager, priority onboarding and migration assistance. The 30-day trial lets teams evaluate paid modules, but the free plan’s five-seat cap is restrictive for larger organizations.

Platforms

TNC Track is available on Android, iOS and the web, with NFC stations also supported for clock-ins. Mobile attendance helps teams whose employees are not always at a desk, while web access supports office-based administration.

Who it's for

Choose TNC Track if a small or growing remote, hybrid or multi-location team needs attendance and leave alongside project or HR workflows, and can control costs by selecting modules. It is less compelling for teams that need many seats or several paid modules while keeping spending predictable.

Pros and cons

Pros: Attendance and leave workflows accommodate time zones, regional holidays and shared team planning.
Pros: Projects, HR, finance and insights can extend the same platform beyond time tracking.
Pros: The free Team & Attendance offer has no stated end date, and additional modules receive a 30-day trial.
Cons: Only five seats are free; each additional seat costs $5 per month.
Cons: Most modules cost $10 per month each after the trial, so broad use can add up.
Cons: The free plan has email support, while priority support and a dedicated manager are reserved for Enterprise.

Verdict

TNC Track is a strong fit for smaller distributed teams that want attendance and leave at the center of a broader workforce platform. Its main advantage is the range of workflows available in one product; its main drawback is that seat and module charges make the free starting point a limited guide to the eventual cost. Look elsewhere if you need generous free seats or expect to run many paid modules.
